    Suggestion for Potential DLC.

I was pondering over a concept today, as too how you can have Japan represented through the samurai, but yet their largest opposing faction the Chinese Army was Ignored in a sense.

So I'd like to first start with the Story Aspect which is where If you where to charge for DLC I'd put a price on (Approximately $5USD, I think is reasonable but once again not my decision I'm not the creator of For Honor).
So the campaign would lead into the appearance of this Fourth Faction, who's only goal is too unify the land in peace and harmony, similar to the other 3 factions goals. The plot that I've thought up would play more around the Japanese and China disputes of the early ages. And hopefully lead into interactions between the Vikings and Templar later. writing them in as a sitting faction one that just watched the war rage on through time. And finally they reached the point where they must do something to stop all this overall. That would be the suggested direction of where I'd run the Campaign.

Now with the purchase of the campaign I'd put levels of value on this allowing unlocks for future Chinese soldiers.
Which leads me into the multiplayer Aspect.
I'd initiate their position in the middle with just one position their starting terrain. Forcing them to spread out and breaking up the map in that way. (However once again this is just a suggestion)

With this you'd have to think about What each of the four roles would be.

    •Vanguard
    - Wudang Swordsman - Jian (Double Edged Sword).
I'll start with my Justification of this weapon and position. Vanguards tend to be stronger units not desired around the 1v1 fighting but rather the 1vMany fighting. Throughout Chinese history Jian fighters where kinda treated as characters who would cut through various amounts of units deflecting with their weapon and moving fluidly through battlefields. As well they where popularized in the gaming and movie universe as one of the most universal fighting weapons in Chinese history.

    •Assassin - Chinese Dancer - Iron Fan.
I chose the Iron Fan as a Assassin because commonly they where used by assassins to quickly dispatch their opponents without them be aware of the weapon they where holding, as well as disguising their actions without revealing their intent. I felt with the Ninja being released that the game didn't need another chain hook character so this was a strong fit, and on top of that I feel like the Designers could have a lot of fun with this.

    •Heavy - Shaolin Monk - Tin Staff.
This is by far one of my favorite weapons in both video game and movie representation. The Tin staff was used by monks to help navigate through wildlife filled areas from their rings that jiggled making sound for wildlife to be wary of their surrounding. In addition the heavy is usually more of a defensive class, and as monks they tend to be less confrontational if possible, yet still very brutal fighters. I'd play this class similar to how Dynasty Warriors depicted Pang Tong. However their is plenty of play room here.

•Hybrid - Kung Fu Master - Either Gun (Staff) or SanjieGun (Broken Staff/ 3 Section Staff)
I chose the Gun (Staff) because I'm a large fan of this weapon, as Its not entirely a weapon, Staves have always been the most simple yet useful weapons throughout history because they are simply a piece of wood. As for the reason this would be the hybrid is because you can simply use it in such a versatile way, Aggressive like Sun Wukong, or lesser famous warriors of the imperial army. Too shoalin, (I believe Northern style but I'm no expert on Chinese martial arts) who use the staff as a zoning weapon to keep the hostile at bay from their Teachers/Master.

This also has many fields of fighting that the team at Ubisoft could later play with and their plenty of history between China and Japanese to develop a lot of interesting events and plot. Dynasty Warriors Crew found 91 chinese weapons I imagine you can use some of them and bleed similar ones to your Samurai Team.

Thank you for reading this if you got this far. I think it could be a fun idea to play with, and I know there is little intent to create a fourth faction but, If there was one to choose I'd definitely go with the Chinese army for time appropriate warriors. And please feel free to use the poll, and feedback, and troll because I know there will be trolls :P

I think I'm in love with you. Seriously. Bang up job on the conceptualized faction, potential campaign storyline, and characters. The only thing that I would personally change would be the choice of the Tin Staff for the Monk. I feel that having a staff for two characters, the Monk and the Kung Fu Master, would be a bit too redundant. Rather, I would equip the Shaolin Monk with Iron Rings (the big *** rings you see in martial arts movies that they have hanging on their arms). This would kind of fit the heavy style character theme, as the Monk can utilize the rings as a shield to deflect incoming attacks. While this would in fact mean some of the shortest range, it could be offset by giving him some truly explosive power and fight in the styles of Yau Kung Mun, Hung Gar, etc. Think superman punch with a jingle.

Love that idea of fighting as a Shaolin Monk! The ideas in general are all very awesome. They'd certainly all make interesting additions to the For Honor universe! Thanks for sharing your ideas with us Buffdoggy.
