literally every far cry has had the ability to swim & go under water... yes, you will be able to swim & go under water, MT is full of massive lakes & rivers. Mountain lions are native to MT as well, I would know my dad used our dogs to hunt them, plus they were mentioned in the press release as one of the animals utilized within "fangs for hire" ...

Regarding the underwater and Custom Map editing: the games so far have been limited to setting 1 level of water across a 64x64m square sector. This somewhat restricts the water on two fronts:
    1. You must 'plan' sections of cascading waterfalls to 'make do' with the 64x64 elevation limitation. For example, you can't have the water level drop gradually over just a few meters.
In our editor mods, we somewhat worked around this by using the spline road tool as a river. Though this is only visual water, not something you can swim in. See the video below for an example of both sector-based and spline-based water:

    2. Having only 1 level of water vertically per sector means you can't have water basins overlap one another. More importantly, this also means you can't make a 'tunnel' to go under the water, as the tunnel itself will be flooded.

Both issues would benefit from having either smaller water sectors enabled, or perhaps having special placeable cube objects that represent water bodies. I'm hoping, with FC5's teasers showing flowing rivers, that Ubisoft may have something in store for us...

"Fangs for hire"! This alone makes the game stupid. I don't want to be "The Beast Master" like that dumb movie in the 80's. It would be so much more rewarding if you could just get lucky and lure a bear into an enemy camp once in a very great while.

I mean, the bait and stuff is still in the game so that will still be possible. I probably won't ever bother with fangs for hire beyond an initial curiosity use or something, never used guns for hire in FC4 either....

I can see using bait to set up a bad day for the enemy. I just want to move away from the more over the top stuff. It kills immersion for me.

Yeah, the fact that you can call in bears & cougars is pretty dumb imo, given the context & setting of the game... I dunno, I guess we don't have the full picture of how it works. I'll probably use the dogs, I love dogs and they actually have a blue heeler in the screen shots... my sister used to have one of those and he was a very good boye! So I'd be willing to use dogs as they're domesticated animals that do help hunters in real life....

My dad actually would've been the ultimate consultant for some stuff in this game. He was a mad man of a hunter. Killed massive elk with a bow, used our hounds to hunt & tree cougars and was an all around true Montanan through & through (even though he wasn't born here, he actually had a shirt that said "i wasn't born in MT, but i moved here as fast as i could") He used to wake me up at 4:30 on saturdays to go hunting during deer season. We made annual trips to east MT to hunt antelope.. he was insane. Dude was in better shape than me when it came to hoofin' it up mountains in 3 ft. of snow, and he could track anything... On top of his all around total bad@$$ery as a hunter, he was a lumberjack by trade, spending all day falling trees. Needless to say I miss him. It will remind me of him playing this game I know it. Hunting deer & elk, that'll bring me back...

Gonna headshot those mountain lions with my sweet, sweet Compound Bow. I am also gonna use neither guns nor fangs for hire(I maybe persuaded to use a dog, but only because I love them), because I prefer to do things solo with my four friends silenced pistol, silenced AR, silenced SR and most importantly mister bow.
