I have experienced this twice now.

After you Guard Break an enemy and hit them with the heavy in preparation to use Sickle Rain, it has a chance of killing them after they are pulled to their knees (i.e. not killed by the initial hit from the heavy) but before you hit them with the triple-light. It acts as though, in this bizarre case, when their knees touch the ground, the game puts them into a dead state.

The problem is, when this happens, not only does the Shinobi not get granted a kill (the game treats it like the Shinobi had no part in the kill - no Takedown credit), the game also does not grant a death to the person who died.

At first, I thought that maybe lag was to blame (even though I experienced none), but when it happened again I knew it was not lag that was to blame.

I have a screenshot of the scoreboard showing no kills for my character and a dead enemy with no deaths (posting from my phone, though, so that may need to wait until I'm back at my computer). I will also try to start recording my games in case it happens again.

Anyone else finding this problem?

I will try to update this thread with any evidence either when I have the opportunity or when I get more proof to help.
