I loved the music in FC4! It was awesome that Cliff Martinez did the soundtrack for that game. Been a fan of his since Drive. I liked how the end of the FC5 teaser there was this guitar twang. I got this country vibe. That's the proper term right? When it comes to describing music I'm not the greatest lol. Maybe they'll go country and rock with soundtrack.
When I heard that guitar riff at the end of each teaser video, I really thought the game was gong to be a western, circa 1800s or something, because it envoked that kind of feeling.
I think you may be correct, subtle guitar riffs and iconic western inspired instruments may be the order of the day.
I wouldn't mind some subtle country western vibes but I wouldn't want them to lean to far into it either. I was born & raised in MT and I hate country music.... a band I like VOLBEAT kinda has a "rockabilly" sort of vibe but i don't think it'd really gel well with the FC tone they've already established. Considering it is modern day MT though we have radio stations here so the soundtrack should be the most diverse and biggest it's ever been in all honesty...
I hate country music too lolOriginally Posted by HorTyS Go to original post
dunno how well that really vibes with the setting... would seem more appropriate if we were returning to Rook Islands but Northwest America? Not so much.....Originally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post
I'd say this is more fitting.... oh and Ubisoft, PLEASE, let us adjust music volume independently of other volumes. No more of that Master volume all or nothing crap thats been in since FC3. And let us have multiple save files again!, anyway, yeah, this seems more in line with the setting than pan flutes....
I literally searched "subtle banjo music" on youtube to find that... it would be annoying if the volume was as high as i'm sure it was when you played it, but if it was lowered in the background it would be less obtrusive aurally...Originally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post
