OVERSIGHT? Shinobi - *Potential* Friendly Fire Issue

I have noted that if you GB an enemy on the other side of a hole, cliff or a water hazard and try to pull them to yourself, they get pulled into the hazard and get insta-killed from falling to their death. That, itself, isn't an issue - that has happened to me as well when enemies do that to me. I can live with that as it feels well-played and deserved.

The problem lies here: If a friendly Shinobi uses a ranged GB, it can be used against friendly players (on your own team). If you did this to a friendly player/bot on the other side of a hole, cliff or water hazard, you can yank the friendly player to their deaths.

    Is this intended?

If not, please look into it.
