Suggestion: Faction War improve ideas
I'm always saying how Faction War could improve with just a few changes, so I thought how to make players "communicate" each other over the map.
- Change the way we deploy assets.
Today we select where to deploy the already owned assets. Instead, we could select before that a fixed place. You put the marker on a territory and all the assets you earn will be deployed there, until you change the territory or the turn ends.
- Show hotspots where players are deploying most
With the 1 being applied, the map could show how many players of your faction are investing in the territory, by colors or numbers. This way we can see what our fellows are doing and plan without the need of a chat.
- Distribute the non-used assets instead auto-deploy
Today the auto-deploy is useless and anti-productive. So many players didn't care about war that instead defend new conquested territories the system just keep attacking. The ones who cares and play the Faction War nothing can do against the system. If we distribute the non used assets between players instead auto-deploy in all territories, those who play the Faction War can have a chance.
Or the system could auto-deploy based on a percentage over the territories being attacked and defended by those who selected one on map. Based on the hotspot "graphic".
Or yet, if you do not select a territory you won't receive assets. Instead, all the players who selected one receive assets based on the number of participating fellows.
- Give bonuses for the Factions based on the position they have on the turn
With this, a turn matter. The lead Faction in the current turn could gain a bonus for Exp or Steel.
