Make Wind Gust and Hurricane Blast causes bleed at least.

and, for god sake NERF CATAPULT
I know its not the right place to put this, but Im tired of this unbalanced feat.

    Storm Rush:
Make it unblockable after hold for x seconds besides more feintables frames, at least 3 more steps,
This way, if used at right distance, it could be a good weapon against turtles

    Deflects follow ups:
That was the best idea I saw in this topic:

hit r1 for a quick elbow hit dealing 3-5 damage but stunning the enemy similar to raider stunning tap, allowing further mixups.
hit r2 for a charged unblockable dealing 20 damage which can be parried, but also feinted, again leading to further mixups that orochi so desperately needs.

That's how you solve the deflect problem in 1 move, instead of a light option that is never used, and a heavy one dealing big damage that never lands, You basically have both Wind gust and Hurricane blast in 1,but this way deflecting seems attractive again compared to parrying and gives the hero the depth it should.

I only play as Orochi, since first beta but stopped playing like 2 weeks after release. I see very good ideas here that I hope will get implemented. Add sheath to it and enable locked content and the game is fixed for me personally.

The hidden guard stance is another thing that needs to be reworked because as of now it's useless. What you get is if your reflex guard runs out, you move your sword to the middle and it supposed to confuse enemy to where will you strike from but it's actually useless. Lets for a moment ignore the fact that orochi sides are free parries and top light and zone are only viable attacks. The fact is that your opponent will simply see where you had your guard last and knows where the attack is coming from. It would be way better if orochi always held his sword in the middle, even when reflex guard is still up and only moved to sides and up when actually blocking. This way there really will be a mind game to where the attack is coming from, of course thats only if side light attack speed gets buffed.

Then there is storm rush gb cancel. Lots of people do not use it and lots of people don't even know it's a thing, I actually saw some suggest here that storm rush should have a gb cancel. The reason why they do not know about it is because the window on it is so small that it's useless. You got to get into someones face to even use it and even then it wont work every time and you just use gb in air and then get gbken instead lol. The window on it needs to be much larger, like till last step, and the storm rush speed and distance needs to be buffed as well. To make it viable, storm rush just needs a buff, on distance, speed, feint window, gb window, and possibly make the direction of swing changeable during the run. This way this move will actually have some use.

Although here the hat is too large
The size is correct, you can see the zone for see through it. It's a Jingasa. That seems a straw one, to protect form rain, but there was steel version too, for using like a helmet. I can't assure but i think the most common was the smaller one, made from steel and used like helmet

To be honest, I really think Orochi's Riptide strike needs some change, feint-able is definitely a must. Being able to feint Riptide strike allows this move-set to be a dodge and a bait for turtles to parry and attack, and therefore able to punish them.

Riptide strike should also do more damage than a top heavy (I don't actually know that damage values but reading other people's comments it seems like it does less damage)
How can a move that gives you more momentum and force do less damage than a move where you just slash from top?

The camera tracking on Hurricane Blast is also a must, besides from that, I really don't think Orochi needs many changes.

Maybe a slight kick after deflects, a kick that will stun opponent for a very small amount of time, but gives them enough for them to dodge hurricane blast, this I have not thought through at all, because I don't think deflect needs this kind of thing. Deflect is supposed to be hard to pull off and requires a lot of practice on timing.
This is a good idea for deflect reward, i have suggested something similar, with elbow, but animation kick is already there (well elbow too) it was great to have an animation for side deflect and other to front defeclt with same results

that is so true... thanks for remind me ab this Desu_Vulthal.

Could the devs explain the purpose of the reflex??
I belive that such disavantage would have a good side, a vantage in any way but its don't.
The enemy simply knows your last guard position
(In orochi's cases the opponent not even need to care ab this, he knows we are going for the top slash)

I like all the ideas except for making the side-lights as fast as the top... just because I don't want orochi to be PK.V3. I use the weird timing of the side attacks to mix it up.

thankfully I don't play at the level where all my attacks are parried, so I kind of like the mix up.

I main orochi and think they are pretty cool. You can only mix up so many different methods to open someone up. So I was wondering if maybe we could get like a ridiculous chain were there's minimal time to avoid it. Within the chain I'd like to be able to hit my opponent a couple of times and practically drain all their stamina and then follow it up by knocking them to the ground and doing a jumping stab. I want it to be balanced so I think it should only do about 75% of the enemy's overall health. If there's anyway where we could take everyone's best feat and give me all of them I'd appreciate it. I mean who needs to play conq, pk, kensei, or zerker when I can just do whatever they can. Hmmm what else would make my hero god, I mean more well rounded. Oh can you guys at Ubisoft give me a feat where I can armor myself and all my allies that way if there's 4 classes the same as mine we can all do it. You know, just in case if it's a close game the other team in dominion is at a significant disadvantage? Other than that the only thing that would make my orochi even with other classes is if whenever I deflect smoke pops up like Im at a magic c show and I teleport behind them like scorpion from Mortal Kombat. I want to be able to do some damage that way there's no chance of the opponent countering my deflect. I think that about does it and I have really thought this through, for years in fact. I wouldn't want to make this unfair for any other class or player so I think it's a good idea. You at Ubisoft think you could make it happen? It's ok if it comes out messed up we as the community will just keep throwing cash your way in hope while you "work to resolve" this constant and never ending cycle of problems in a game that had such promise and so far more extremely disappointing. But of course, I'll keep playing it, at least until June 2nd.
