There will probably be a warrior's den today at 12:00 (EST) to talk about that.

I think they said something about that on the stream, that there won't be new stuff this week for some reason. Maybe it's because new classes are available for all players and costs 15k.

Yep that's correct, no content this week, as Draghmar said, they mentioned it on last weeks Warriors Den, and if memory serves it is indeed so that you can save Steel for use on the new Season 2 characters instead of having lots of new Ornaments / Executions / Emotes to buy.
