Game crashing at the end of the match? | Forums

Just had my game crash at the end of the match 2 times these pass 4 days.


Known issue or is my PS4 taking a dump? (its old as hell)

It's "cable-pullers" Coyote. It's a way to poop on your win, where someone repeatedly connects-disconnects the line, or uses one of those "lag-switch" devices which will set the system to go into a repeated connection-related event that just busts the whole game.

The results can range from the match going belly up, to even buggy circumstances such as being able to roam around the map even when the match is over, and the system failing to return you to lobby -- and thus, only way of returning by just quitting the match to make all your efforts go to nil.

That makes total sense.


The game that just crashed that made me make this thread? We made an EPIC 600 point comeback and one scrub on their team was spamming "Wow!" and "Sorry!" and I am willing to bet it was him lol


He also messaged me mid game and apparently I am a "Scrubby Sweaty Nooblord"

Happens a lot lately. Either right at the beginning or right at the end. Listen for the bell when you're playing. The bell (gong) is always the last thing I hear before game crashes. Weird.

I've run into this a few times as well, often corresponding with an emote. I don't think that it's just cable pullers - I've had it happen vs AI. It happens most often for me when I use the lightning emote on my raider.

i got 4 crashes in a row...i just gave up and stoped playing...
