    Kensei Shoulder Armor Visuals

This is obviously a non-gamebreaking thing and not all that important, but the point of this thread is to ask for some new looks when it comes to the Kensei's shoulders.

Honestly, I was pretty stoked about this game when I heard about the Samurai faction. I was hoping for some badass traditional samurai characters, but sadly, none of them really look like a traditional samurai apart from the helmets and weapons. Kensei is really the closest thing to a samurai, but even he has some flaws. Mostly having to do with his shoulders.

I'm not saying there needs to be a completely traditional looking samurai outfit, but cmon, those shoulders honestly ruin Kensei's look for me. In the game trailer, those square wooden things (I think Sodes are what they are called) were attached to his arms. Not hanging off his shoulders like floating pieces of wood.. The Kensei in the trailer looked like a badass because of it.

And THE cinematic trailer, especially at about 2:55

Basically, I'm just saying that there needs to be new looks for the shoulders. Give some new positions for it like actually being placed on the arms rather than hanging off the shoulders, or even give some shoulders that don't even have them at all, such as just changing them to general protective shoulders like this:

This might just be my inner "OMG WEEB" coming out, but Kensei could use a bit of a makeover with those shoulders of his.

Mostly just make the Kensei look like he did in the cinematic trailer, and I'm sure most of us Kensei players would be stoked.

Supposedly, the fact that the shoulder pads stay on the back, served for two things. Greater maneuverability, and stopping arrows
Kensei shoulders ins't based on that type of armor (the red samurai one) but this:

thats shoulder are more "orochi like" in this game.

Ō-sode is still on the side of shoulder though, not on the back. Its purpose is to protect the arm.
