I agree that a rework would be very wellcome to many character (Conqueror im looking at you). Also a substantial buff would make them comparable to the new heroes. The prolem with your sujestion is that last part: a nerf to the light´s speed. And then you continue naming 5 diferent heroes that acording to you would fit in that sujestion.Originally Posted by Lord-Micidial Go to original post
Im ok with the rework. Im even ok with the buff if the rework is not enought. But nerfing their light atacks? Really? Where do you take that from? I MIGHT agree with nerfing a bit the speed of the valkire on console, but nerfing the speed precisely of those 5 character?![]()
Get 'The Best' emote for her and do it whenever you kill someone and your journey to the dark side will be completeOriginally Posted by FledgeSRondo Go to original post![]()
Misread, the lights nerf is pk only, the others need a rework because they don't have bothing except the spam of the 2 moves ad infinitum.Originally Posted by TheLastPandaa Go to original post
So what you're saying is, you played like an idiot, and got killed?Originally Posted by Tobias96716 Go to original post
If you want to succeed with Shinobi, this is literally all you have to do
- Stay out of range of anything your opponent can throw at you
- Only attack using your unreactable lights
- If your opponent can actually block your lights, just start feinting heavies into lights.
- If your enemy is throwing a light attack or other unfeintable stuff, dodge kick him to get your free heavy
- Learn to parry
Congratulations, you are now 100% impossible for the rest of the cast to deal with
I don't even understand how you got killed in the scenarios you outlined. 90% of the time, getting your ranged GB teched will not pull you in range of their attacks, and even if it does, your recovery is so fast you will parry their follow-up
the fact is, offensively PK doesn't have much else but lights and ZA. When you get down to it, the rest of her kit is not very reliable while on offense. you can do soft heavy feint into a GB but it serves only as an anti-parry mechanic, if your opponent doesn't take the bait it will get countered 95% of the time. side dash heavies are only viable as a counter attack, you can't initiate with them if you don't want to get parried. I start throwing heavies when opponent parries lights a lot, that way mix-ups become viable. but if opponent doesn't parry lights why would I go for heavies (besides feinting) and make myself more exposed? I actually like when my lights get parried, it kind of 'unlocks' my heavies. to me much worse is if opponent never parries and is capable of blocking my lights, I'm pretty much fu'cked, I can't use heavies and my lights are not doing ****, I have to turtle up and focus on countering their attacks instead. so the amount of kit being used really depends on your opponent.
PK's instant lights and feinting game is more than enough to deal with the entire cast, minus Shinobi.Originally Posted by FootlessRhino Go to original post
It is always very satisfying to land that deflect, and to bleed them out, I agree, especially when they know it is coming and they aren't catching you.Originally Posted by FledgeSRondo Go to original post
yeah, if I lose with PK (or any other character for that matter) I know I lost because i played shi'tty. I just get annoyed when people bit'ch about her lights and expect me to throw out heavies for no fu'cking reason.Originally Posted by BeefMan_ Go to original post
I deal with Shinobi very easily when I play PK, her side dash attacks have 2 hits, when Shinobi uses double dodge kick combo one hit goes through the hyper armor and the other one interrupts their follow up. they can't really use that against PK.
