You don't say it's cheap but you suggest otherwise. :P It is abused because it is easier to perform with at least acceptable results - that's what my post was about. And I even didn't tell I agree with this approach. I was just looking for some explanation.

    Its not cheap.

    Its easy.

There is a difference. The best PKs and Shinobi use the entire kit. The only people that use nothing but the LA spam are the people who have no skill and don't wanna learn how to play the character properly. IF you wanna spam Light Attacks I have no problem whiping the floor with you. I just get irritated because scrubs that do that are limiting themselves and thus costing me and their teams a competent player.

Tired of getting easy kills and getting dumb teammates that think they are good if they do that and end up costing me a match.

One thing I did notice before the premiere was you were rooting for sacriel, who is a peacekeeper main who used pretty much the whole kit so I got where you were coming from off that.

I root for ANYONE that does their best to rise above the scum and scrubbery.

I always root for the people who try to do better and try harder than the kids who try to get by on nothing but the bare minimum

I did a few rounds of Duel on my PK the other day, for an Order or trust me I would avoild Duels like the plague. I was only fighting Bots, but consistently they had a prescient ability to never be where my Side Step Stab or my Forward Lunge would have landed, they would CGB every time, and block all of my heavies. You know what they couldn't do anything about? Flick out 2x Light Attacks and then roll back, rinse and repeat. Sad but true. In the end to win with the rest of the kit requires 10x the effort. While I like to do that because I don't like to be cheap, as it approached bed time and I still hadn't completed the Order, I thought 'sod it' and just changed to the Light game.

Your Ferrari analogy is a little wrong. In the case of the PK, using the full kit is like owning a Ferrari and pushing it from behind. Yes it will move but it will be a lot slower

If you actually believe that then you have no idea how to play the Shinobi properly.

A shinobi player in dominion motivated me to finally learn my cgb game >.> lol, cgb'd deliberately for the first time since the practice mode in February. In dominion they are terrors, not saying that in a rage way, I play mine as a sniper when I can get away with it so people likely feel the same about me.

Seriously? How did you avoid getting GBed from a Warlord and pushed over a ledge the entire time? Or getting heavy's after GB from half the roster?
I learned to CGB in the first week of release, only had to figure out it was not techable on dodge. So I will stay in the face of the enemy all the time to not let that happen.

Using the full kit of PK is working very good on bots, too. Bots tend to go "full ham mode", every opponent who does that eats my deflects and parries ALOT. The only thing that has no impact on bots is feinting.

Peacekeeper remember >.> any time they got close I dodged, any time they tried closing with a headbutt or charging top heavy they ate deep gouge. Top heavy punish from orochi was more an issue, I look forward to making them eat a cgb for their troubles lol.
