Not because I think its cheap or whatever its just that they are literally ignoring 99% of what those classes are capable of.


Its like owning a Ferrari and all you do is occasionally start it and rev the engine a few times and then turn it off again. You are missing out on what makes the classes actually GOOD. You are choosing to just be lazy and hoping your enemy is an idiot rather than showing any amount of skill.

Optimal moves/strategis are a thing you know. If you make one move/strategy much better then anything else, all the other stuff becomes redundand. This is exacly what happens to this characters - their spam is so good they might as well not even have all the other moves. The OP one is enought.

If you really want to stick to cars, the best thing I can think of is this - it's like buying a car with a TV in the back, even thought all you use it for is driving alone. The car (or light attack spam) does all you need from it (takes you places/kill opponents), so all the other nonsane might as well not be there, you will never use it.

There is a term for this by the way - bad design.

Can't speak for all pks but I know some of us use her full kit and get annoyed at the spam, but yeah it is riskier, the premiere showed that when Durandal got through with lights, Sacriel won one but got wrecked by parries the other two. Hopefully whatever they do to the defensive meta with their next patch makes her kit (and many other kits) more viable.

I'm sorry you feel that way.

I prefer opponents that actually have skill, but thats just me I guess.

I'm not at the level of gameplay to judge your statement but I think the problem is competitive aspect of this game. I mean...If there are for example 5 combos for some class but 1 of them is so good (being easy to perform and so at least moderate amount of damage in time) that gives 90% chance for winning then there's no need to use rest of the moves. At least if we take only winning into account. People like winning. And the worst part of it - many people like when their opponent looses. That's why people are using bots to cheat even though they don't play directly.

So why you start the Hate-Train again? You lost to a Light-spamming PK? Really? Man you must be bad. I wreck other PK's who only Light / ZA spam me.

How to do it: always block your right side -> ZA always comes this side and is the fastest Attack in the game.
The first Light comes at 15 Frames -> should be reactable like every other fast-Light in the game (e.g. Orochi, LB and Warden Top), and it will come from top or left because you are blocking right.
If you got hit be the first Light the second one will come faster, BUT in 99% of cases not from the same side -> you just guard somewhere else and have a 50/50 chance.
After Light-Light the PK is vulnerable with a pretty large recovery window before he can Attack again. Use it!
And last but not least: use your range advantage, PK has very little range compared to most other classes in the game! Hit her before she is in range, reflex guard you know...

Saying that people only use 1% of the kit of a specific class is the same as saying that light spam is cheap. You can write "I don't want to say it is cheap" hundred times in front of your argument, it will still read as "99% of people rely on cheap light spam".

And, tbh, playing like a turtle, wait for a parry to ledge someone or spam bash is the same. Most people only use a small percentage of the entire moveset of their class. I am not, I use parry, deflect, feints, gb, dodge attacks, soft-feints, za, and hell yes, even light's!
