Dont dare get knocked down in a 4v4!!! Pounce doom!!

How the **** is this still live?

If you get knocked down in a 4v4 you get instantly pounced on by 2-4 Centurions..

Instant.. No counter play.. No skill required..

Easy right? Just avoid the CC??

    ****ING HOW!!!????

sick to death of the idiots who make this game BAD with all their dumb ideas..

Dumb ideas come from dumb brains.. i hope these devs never work again.

You do realize being knocked down in 4v4 has been horrible since the game started, right? I understand that Cent has a follow up on knockdown, but a single overhead from most characters does similar damage.

You do realize that something that was badly designed from the start shouldn't be used as a way to justify adding yet another badly designed mechanic?

In 1v1 CC's are not so much of the problem because you have time to focus on them...I'd like to see your counter to the Conq unlocked shield bash when you're facing another opponent and he is running at you from behind. The same goes for Shinobi's tackle.
There is to many easy to perform CC's in this game and taking away control from player to this extend is always cheap and bad design.

And BTW revenge was too powerfull.

To the opponents of the OP

    1) It's now far easier, and far more likely you'll get knocked down in these 4v4 modes if there's cents on the opposing team

    2) The centurions pounce is a ranged attack while almost all of the original cast don't have anything like that (or not quite the same). Thus depending on how you go down, and due to the timing of things, it wasn't regularly the case that all opponents would be in range/be able to get to you in time (more than likely the attack was already prepared and ready to go). In the case of cents, they can just initiate from anywhere on the map and will fly to you like flies to ****.

What amazed me the most is how there exist players on this forum who deny the stark, clear as day difference between the old and new. The complains people are posting on the forums aren't coming out of thin air XD

Those players are playing Cent main at the moment and they like that they have easy tools for killing or don't play in 4v4 so their only point of view is from 1v1.

I'm maining Cent (had intended too since the leak months ago as I am a Rome fanboy) and I play Dominion more than anything else. I don't see his "tools" being any easier to get kills than standing behind someone with my Warden (in a 2v1 situation) and grabbing them into an overhead heavy. Similar damage, same result, imo.

I am not denying the change that has occurred in the game since the start of Season 2 with the addition of new characters. There has been a change for sure. I would argue there are a lot of people happy with the change, as the game was becoming a tad stale. This would include myself.

I will also like to say that when I started a week ago with the head start, I found myself frustrated to no end. I would stop playing and just go do something else. Then I decided to read the forums, see what people were saying about the new characters, how to fight them, and I learned from it. I stopped *****ing and I kept playing. Now I can deal pretty easily with other Cents (although Shins I still have issues with) as I learned the timing and can parry and dodge basically everything they do. This includes fighting multiples.

Yes it is harder, you have to keep moving. I 1v4 (I was the last of my team alive) an enemy team with 3 Cents and 1 Shin, killed 3 of them and battled the last till his backup arrived and I got stuck in a corner and they wailed on me. I didn't *****, I laughed. I had gotten stuck in there. My team complained about how OP it all was, and I simply explained that I had won the first fight because I could move about. The second fight I couldn't and I died. It was quite simple.

Again, I cannot deny things have changed, and this is a little ways off the OP's comment now, but if there are enough people out there saying that it is easy enough to kill them, maybe try listening? This is all just my opinion, and I am not a god at the game in any way, shape or form, but if I learnt how to deal with it, maybe you can too?

Why is the assumption that players who find themselves outnumbered must be wannabe Rambo-Commando one-man-armies running like lemmings to their doom? Sometimes you're clearing out minions when your teammates run off to help another teammate or secure an open objective, and if you're the vanguard you're trusted with securing the front. Sometimes you're holding an objective pushing up your team's points when enemy teammates coincidentally come at you simultaneously from different directions, or you start off fighting one when another arrives. Sometimes you're actually fighting with your teammates, but some of them are low Rep/Gear or inexperienced and get mowed down leaving you alone with the enemy team: you try to escape, but they have faster heroes who prevent you from doing so, or come in from different directions blocking your retreat. Sometimes you're facing a gank squad but know your teammates are coming, and want to hold the fort until reinforcements arrive. Sometimes you're intentionally acting as a decoy trying to distract or divert the enemy's attention, drawing a good portion of their usable power away in order to give your teammates an opening and opportunity elsewhere. With the constant ebb and flow of battle there are plenty of valid reasons you can get surrounded.

And the odd assumption that every outnumbered situation is necessarily escapable hasn't borne itself out to be true in my experience. I absolutely HATE running away from any fight, but when I have to choose between giving my enemies a free kill that helps unlock their feats and humiliation, I'll choose humiliation if it helps my team. That said, it can be incredibly difficult to get away from most fights where you're outnumbered, I mean really, do you think most smart opponents will just let you off that easy? I've been on both the receiving and giving end of outnumbered situations and know firsthand how difficult it can be to escape, even with Revenge. Unless you're playing a faster assassin class they'll chase you down or surround and corner you, most other characters speeds are about the same and with lunge attacks it's not hard to close the distance (especially if the escaper is playing a slower class). Revenge, which was intended to give you that little "chance" to get away, does anything but when you're faced with Centurions that can instantly kick and punch through your Revenge activation to knock you down from the get-go, opening you up not only to their teammates attacks but a powerful life/armor/stamina draining lunge attack as well, leaving you not only severely injured but incredibly vulnerable. As I said elsewhere, at least something like the Shug Hug is slow, telegraphed and comes with a great risk, so it's manageable. But the Centurion has fast, powerful, difficult-to-evade punish options in outnumbered situations, fast unblockables and disabling knockdown attacks, that don't come with any consequences, risks or downsides whatsoever. Since they've been introduced it's almost a unspoken rule that if two Centurions are teamed up in Dominion they run in pairs, because it's so easy for them to quickly and effortlessly mow down anyone they come across.

the problem of cent isn't the attack after you are knocked down, but how easy for him, with a few attacks, knocked you down XD

being in a corner against 4 cents now that's ridiculous, there is no escape even once revenge is active.
