I sure did but before you say I am a scumbag and before you ask question, why in the hell is this in suggestions... well actually do ask this question because this is exactly what this is about it, so hear me out here.
I am a pretty big fan of the game, spent 100 bucks on it, and it is my prime game now, don't have time to play anything else. I also have never left match before unless it was a dc, I always stayed and so on but then season 2 happened and no, this is not topic about cent or shinobi being op.
The season 2 came and stability patches come all the time, yet... I can hardly finish a game now, like it's so much worse than it used to be. I hardly dc before so when I had a bad match it was not that bad, since I actually got to complete games before. Now though, it's dc half of dominion games and any other 4 v 4 modes. I mean I had to play 4 games before the last one did not actually dc, and that was me trying to do an order, that was infuriating. To make it even better, the first three games that I did dc, I did amazing, we were winning and my order was getting all done, in all 3 games it's a dc, then a **** game comes, when my team mates are no where to be found and this game of course does not dc, so yeah, I left it.
So where am I getting at? Everyone asks for leavers penalty and honestly, it wont affect me, the topic was just to catch attention. I never left before and don't even leave that much now, once in a blue moon so to say. Yet take a moment and just picture this. You play a game, you are winning, dc. You play another game, you are doing great! DC! YOU ARE PLAYER A GAME, YOU ARE THE GOD OF THE MATCH! DDDDDCCCCCCCC! Then you play a game and your entire team just runs around the map, never helping, talking giant pile of **** if you ask them wtf are they doing, you constantly 1 v 3 and 1 v 4, being stun locked by 2 cents and still hold off for a while and no one comes to help, and that game, that one specific game, after you just dc 3 times, but this game, works and does not dc.
Let me ask you, if you are pissing someone off none stop, can you blame them for leaving? Because this is what this game doing, pissing us all off. I mean I pad a solid hundred for this game, yet all I am met with is toxicity from players, infuriating freezes, dcs, taunts for days and so on and so forth and I imagine I am not the only one who feels that way. I am actually pretty high in tolerance to a bs, so I can only imagine how annoyed other people can get and I kind of understand why someone would leave the game if it plays like that.
So my point is, this game needs to actually work first before any penalties are added. Wiait... I can hear it already! "You suck! you just wanna leave and not get punished for it!" No... no thats not it actually. Like I said, I never left a game before till season 2 and even now that like does not happen for days till I do leave one. Why I am saying this is because the games player base is already low, imagine how pissed the remaining players will be if they get punished for leaving after game has just ****ed them over for like 10 matches earlier and did not let them finish, but in one ****ty match they get, they get to stay. You will lose your players and I do not wanna see that, so before any leaver penalties or any of that ****, game actually needs to work and once it's working then you can punish people that still leave games all you want cause they wont have actual reason to.

I'm not really a fan of leaving matches either, but you're absolutely right about the bs connections only happening to crop up when you're doing well then all of a sudden disappear when you're getting raped. I personally believe that there are many justifiable reasons for actually leaving a match; AFK teammates, hackers (yes, you do run into them), or bs matchmaking placing you on a team of all rep 1 characters against a whole team of rep 7+ all 108 or higher gs, might as well not even bother. And of course, there are other reasons, people have lives that dont revolve around the game. Some people have jobs and have to take phone calls. Some people have children to keep an eye on and problems to deal with that crop up at a moments notice. Etc. Honestly I think the only reason people even ***** about people quitting is because Ubi chose to use P2P, and as a result every dc is a potential session ender. If they were to get some dedicated servers, people would probably encourage people to leave, because the session would remain active, and a player is replaced by a bot.
