After i tried both of heroes, i would like to share opinion about most very often discussed theme lately.
Shinobi is ok, the only problem is if you don't know how to play against it.at 1vs1 mode. I mean if you catch it 2-3 heavy hits and its dead! On the other side it can be deadly as hell in skilled hands, but its same like other characters, skilled hands matter and thats it. Heavy and sluggish heroes will have problem to catch it, but skilled berserker and peacekeeper can outmatch it easily. I wouldn't touch shinobi maybe some small nerf but like it is now its okay.
Centurion is annoying as f.. when its in group and that must be reworked, seriously its like spam spam spam and 24/7 like that. When it comes to duel centurion can be easily beaten by fast moving heroes (PK, berserker, shinobi, orochi), problem is when you face centurion with lawbringer san simply cant dodge out of the way when he start spam attacks. Yes it can be counter GB at half of the attack but as soon you do that spam will come again. So either chain attacks must cost way more stamina or something to be done.
One more thing, i believe that we all overreacted after new heroes showed up (including me), and they can easily be balanced with small changes and still have fun with them playing. But as i mentioned already i believe that Centurion need nerf way more than Shinobi.

I main lb from the start and i have a big problem with the shinoobi...sometimes when the kick is far away (when he is close to me i cant avoid it cause he is so fast and iam a slow ****) i can dodge it but they still punish me for some reason.As i said shinoobi is a gamebreaker and he ruin the game mechanics and also the title "For Honor". there is no honor fighting dirty...not to mention the "teleport"......stop smoking weed guys....
Another thing to consider tweaking with shinobi, is the fact when im in the air they can slide and knock me down? not sure that is quite fair. other than that I agree mostly. the whole double dodge kick is an issue possibly and the fact they kinda buffed the long distance punishable for us. but meh, other than that its been alright.Originally Posted by CV_M4st3R_ Go to original post
as far as centurion. he's fine, people are getting sued to him now and able to handle him. with someone who knows their cent caqn be tough. still doing quite well on mine thus far. the kick needs to be treaked down a bit, not that I use it. and lest we forget we have one of the shortest reaches making it a little more difficult even agaisnt the slower raider and lb. but i manage atleast lol.

Fighting shinobi is all about being able to dodge the kick.
It deals 1 damage more than Warden's shoulder bash and you can actually dodge it on reaction or just guess and fight it like a Warden shoulder bash.
But Shinobi has way less health than a warden and you only need to catch him 2-3 times.
It is unpunishable for certain characters though. I am not sure if they can't trade either so maybe it needs some tweaking but too much and shinobi is down to trash tier.
And if you struggle versus it and want to ruin Shinobi's day just play Nobushi and hidden stance it. Hidden stance timing is more forgiving than a regular dodge on that one and if timed right it dodges a possible light, the kick and you can still cgb. Shinobi's backflip is too slow to escape your followup.
Multiple shinobis aren't that good in 4vs4 either since they just die in 1vsX fights and die even faster thanks to effectively removed defensive stats.
Centurion on the other hand has really powerful parry punishes which rewards him hard for turtling in 1vs1 fights and feels like a better Valk in 4vs4. Valk has a lot of CC moves that knockdown too but low damage to compensate. If a Valk knocks somebody down she is dependant on a teammate to get any meaningful damage done to the opponent since leg sweep confirmes only 25 damage for her and the charged shieldbash confirmes her dodge attacks that doesnt deal much damage either.
Stacking multiple Centurions on the other hand having that phalanx feat resulting in 2-3 healthbars to burn through and have awesome damage on top of the stunlock.
Is the Centurion overpowered?
In my opinion he has too much damage on parries but otherwise ok in 1vs1. His strenghts in 4vs4 though is more a problem of not having a counter to stunlocks. You simply can't escape a coordinated stunlock. Doesn't matter if its done by Valks. Lawbringers or Centurions. Centurions are just so strong because their charged heavies stun for an eternity and guarantee the knockdown. Right now the stun on charged heavy is required so his charged jab has any use.
My suggestin would be to shorten the stun on the charged heavy a lot but also fastening the charged jab after a connected charged heavy so it's still guaranteed but doesn't have the 6 second cutscene feeling like it currently has.
Also stunlocks need a counter. Revenge could grant CC immunity for a short duration for example or there could be a diminishing returns on stuns when hit by multiple of them in short succession.
Character stacking is a problem too. You can't balance some feats or characters if there could be more than 1 around. This is the case of the phalanx feat currently. One on a team is strong but 2-4 in elimination is just broken. Same with multiple unkillable warlords who can instakill across half the map with one guard break.
Overwatch had the same issue with character stacking and removed it after the first season.

It pains me to say this but really feel Centurion should use more stamina with his moves. Seems he can punish people for such a long time after 1 mistake.
As for Shinobi, why did it get changed that if you parry his ranged attack they no longer fall to your feet? It feels like you have to chase the fastest character and just hope they make a mistake. Seems very hard to actually be tactical against them without playing directly into their hands.
He fall down but not next to you, it depends at distance, and almost all moves can be interrupted with proper timed light/heavy attacks and even GB, even kicks. All in all, the class is a bit ********. I literally cannot stand the class and it makes me rage. like I honestly dont know what to do against you guys. Sure, dodging the kick is one thing... but you can't punish him unless he throws out the light/heavy attack so you cna parry. The kick needs the biggest change. As it is, its WAY too safe. The only people can that "Punish" are side swipers and even then you ont get much dmg on the punish.
