Peacekeeper back after being away for a few months | Forums

I just returned to For Honor after a few months of being away from the game due to moving. I am shocked by what has been done to the Peacekeepers.

Peacekeeper light attacks nerfed
Peacekeeper bleeds nerfed
Peacekeeper zone attack nerfed
Peacekeeper sidestep attacks nerfed

Absolutely NO buffs, just nerfs.

What is this? Ubi are you trying to alienate the peacekeeper player base? Are you trying to kill the peacekeeper class? You have essentially ruined Peacekeepers. You have broken them. You have made all their strengths weaknesses and their weaknesses are still weak. This is absurd. Ubi, you have gone too far. I am disgusted. You might has well put the nail in the coffin and finish them off. Just remove Peacekeepers from the game altogether, because they cannot compete now.

it seems to be their masterplan to sell more seasonpasses. So Knight players hope to be competable again with the centurion..
Ubi only nerfs the Knights since day 1...

somehow they are either too stupid to see the unbalance unfairness ... or it's wanted..

I give up. I can't win a 1v1 match now with a Peacekeeper. I was a 65% win ratio 1v1 duelist. Now I cannot win a match to save my life. I'm done with this game. Good job Ubi, you just alienated one of your customers.

You want to know what ticks me off the most? The fact that I spent tons of hours learning how to play the Peacekeeper and only the peacekeeper so that I could master the class, only to have Ubisoft wave their magic fingers and change the class mechanics entirely.

You nerfed the only few moves that still worked on the Peacekeeper and now it is utterly useless and completely broken. You didn't even reduce the stamina cost of her attacks when you nerfed all the damage and speed of her attacks. How is that balance?

I'm done with this game.

Consider that the game is changing and PK was OP as **** right now you got new spam king shunobi sow swith for that and spam as much as can and stop *****ing pls. Couse nonebody care abut you quit the game.


Edist: And if you be at least little smarety you will notice that the player base drop so now play only more experienced players and asy you say you did not play for month so basicly you skills are just low

PK is STILL in the Top 5 Tier of Heroes. If not in the Top 3.

If I had to guess you could only do this: Light + Light into Light + Light with an occasional ZA? That is what got nerfed. I never used this exclusively and I am at a 68% Winrate on my PK:

You have to learn how and which move you have to parry or deflect. How to use the feints, when to soft-feint a heavy into a GB, and such stuff. You cannot rely on Light / ZA spam anymore, sorry bro.

Both of these characters have received numerous nerfs and yet still stand far above the rest of the cast. So instead of getting angry try to up your gameplay by properly utilizing the various tools that PK has to offer.

Why is a 65% Winrate even bad? And why is PK still broken in your opinion?

Everything above a 65% Winrate is in the Top 20% of all For Honor players.

He said that he played PK before she received her numerous nerfs. If all he could manage was a 65 % win rate with a character that was way, way better than anyone but Warlord, then in my opinion you were just an average player that relied on a crutch. In comparison to other characters release PK required very little basic mechanics, you could solely rely on light and ZA spam on her and do very well.

I wouldn't call PK necessarily broken in her current state but she's definitely stronger than the majority of the characters. Before the release of Shinobi she easily was top 2 after Warlord. Now it's debatable, she counters Shinobi but doesn't do as well against most other chars as Shinobi does.

Pk can still spam light attacks before anyone can retaliate. Esp slower guard speed chars like raider and lawbringer. You dont get the double attack anymore but you guys switch guard stance so fast while others cant. THAT is why I hate peacekeeper. Same with ShiNOOBi.

You are playing on PC. That problem does not exist there. You are just too slow to react, sorry dude. I have played vs an MLG Pro Raider and some really good LB's, they could block EVERY Light I threw at them. Had to go for the feint game to get some Attacks in...
