Getting "EasyAntiCheat is not installed" error when I try to launch the game. Help! | Forums

This error pops up after it prompts me to install the easyanticheat. It started happening last week after what, 50 hours of game? Normally I'd press the game shortcut and the game would boot just fine, but now it's asking me to install easyanticheat and shortly after it's saying I don't have it installed.

I already:

• verified the game's files
• uninstalled and reinstalled the game
• uninstalled and reinstalled uplay
• disabled MalwareBytes
• disabled the firewall
• tried to run the game in offline mode
• tried to create a shortcut with the -eac_launcher command

and it's not working, I'm locked out of the game.

And the funny thing is, I never even touched the multiplayer, I play strictly single player.

Which is completely ridiculous. I don't understand how I can get locked out of a game I own, and I don't even play online.

Before one of them come here giving you their "meh" answers, I will give it to you... have you tried contacting technical support... arm yourself of patience and valor.
