Why does my character hesitate after only hitting one strike while doing the sickle rain move? R2 x2 and I press R1 x3 but I only hit once and then get guard broke?

First time I played this character it worked and now nothing?

You have to time the light attacks in the same way you do with the PK throw or the cent stamina pommels. I press the button just before the previous attack lands and that seems to make it work.

The gap between the first and second light is quite large at about 400ms or so. The gap between 2nd and 3rd is much tighter such that you only need to 'learn' the 2nd light timing. Just dont mash light like you might do with Orochi to guarantee the double top light as that will make you techable. But if youre landing Sickle Rain your opponent isnt any good so dont worry about it.
