Your gripes with a certain skill or aspect is one thing, using "viability when outnumbered" is totally another. There are tons of skills in game to all classes that's generally considered a "no-no" to use when outnumbered. So how is this any different?

If you're mentioning there's some sort of mechanical problem with the skill that should be fixed for a general QOL increase for Shib players, that's fine by me, but please, stop using "outnumbered" as an excuse.

I'm already fed up with the horde of old "the game must compensate for me when I get ganked" idiots in the General Discussions as it is
You dont know what im talking about? what do you mean? The thread is a breakdown of Shinobis deflect ability, and its lack of use in any facet of the game, be it in a 1v1 or especially in a 1 v 2-3-4. Ive tried to give proper evidence, and an experienced look at why it serves no use in the game, showing why its useless in both aspects.

"Your gripes with a certain skill or aspect is one thing, using "viability when outnumbered" is totally another. I have a few gripes with the skill, thats why I have listed my gripes, and possible solutions... They are two different things, thats why I addressed them as two different aspects in my OP.

"If you're mentioning there's some sort of mechanical problem with the skill that should be fixed for a general QOL increase for Shib players, that's fine by me, but please, stop using "outnumbered" as an excuse" You say its fine by you, but I made this thread detailing why the skill needs a bit of a QOL increase to be relevant, as its either too dificult if its going to remain much weaker than a parry, or to weak if its going to remain this difficult. What do you mean using "outnumbered" as an excuse? I gave an opinion on how I think It could be tweaked so it gives Shinobi some viability in a group gank, in line with a high risk - high reward playstyle, and you replied here with literally no feedback whatsoever, just a "Dont fight a group" in a game where most of the modes are group fighting. Thats annoying because its just dissmising the entire conversation, without giving any tthought either way.

"I'm already fed up with the horde of old "the game must compensate for me when I get ganked" idiots in the General Discussions as it is" Why imply that im just another "idiot" when im trying to have a conversation or hear some thoughts on this. Ive given some evidence as best as I could capture and list to not make a thread just complaining with nothing to back it up, and I waited till nearly rep 6 to post it.

Its annoying having someone come in and be entirely dismissive with a j"ust dont fight people" comment, and offer nothing usefull either for or against it. You say your sick of bad forum ettiquette, yet do the same.

I find it usefull when i made the mistake by blocking too early against a heavy. As the blocking time is so low it's basically a second chance for me. In the first day took some time to realize why i cant parry. Yea because the time i needed to do it was longer than the guard decay was.
Usefull? Only in these situations and occasionally when i can do it on purpose if im getting outnumbered. But most of that time i die in a sec or first cc to another sec and die. As you cant deflect if there are 2 or more ppl around you most of the time because dodge gets interrupted by any attack or gb. I rather try to land a light then backflip if im not against a wall then dodge back. I have more success with this tactic.

I'll agree with number 1, one million percent, but anyone is going to have trouble in 1vX fights because of the nerfs and stat screw-up.

Didn't know they had plans to change it. Did they say it in a stream?

Ty for the feedback. I'll pass it over. And I believe the team did make a few hints about looking at parry in terms of the def meta stuff but thats about all that was said on the topic.

edit - yes it was in a stream, but I cant remember which.

My orochi got sidestepped quite foften. But it has to be sidestep, no backwards. And should be right timing (which is the most tricky part, qith all those connection problems)

I think hidden stance is a valid option true, but i am not sure of that
