Here are some songs I've requested by some funk rock bands that might make a great addition to the game and some cool guitar works.

    1. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong "Melting Lights"

    2. Lettuce "Sounds Like A Party"

    3. Dopapod "Psycho Nature"

Check "em out and see what you think.

Oh damn, these are no-brainers. Lovely guitars and PotF already has experience licensing their music to video games. I'm going to request these

These two people may recognise from the on-disc setlist in Rock Band 3, but I reckon they would be fun to play in RS2014RE:

The Power of Love (Huey Lewis and The News)

In a Big Country (Big Country)

...and this would surely satisfy bass players?:

Boogie Oogie Oogie (A Taste of Honey)

    More great artists for beginners.

Sometimes beginners need some easy songs to get us motivated and keep us going. Specially when we hit a plateau...
I think these artists could help.

    Thank you Rocksmith team!

A while back I stumbled across a wonderful coming of age film called 'God Help the Girl' starring Emily Browning (who is just so gorgeous in it) as well as Ollie Alexander and Hannah Murray. The three of them hook up and form a band, Ollie and Emily have a sort of will they won't they kind of relationship while Emily battles her problems with anorexia. It's gorgeously witty, superbly shot and really captures that feeling of expansive possibilities as you approach university and ponder your future. Not just one of the best films I've seen this decade but one of the best I've ever seen in my life - in fact it quite possibly is my favourite film of all time. Not only that but it's got a killer soundtrack written (as was the script) by Stuart Murdoch of Belle and Sebastian.

I think it would be a great addition to Rocksmith because the songs are quite different to other stuff in the game, the songs are probably reasonably simple to play for beginners and yet are incredibly melodic and tuneful.
