Shinobi's Kick, Is It Too Safe?

    Intro
I'm beginning to wonder if the Shinobi's kick is too safe to execute. In addition to allowing Shinobi the option to guardbreak or attack while dodge cancelling, Shinobi is able to pull off a quick kick that allows a free unblockable hit and also drains enemy stamina.

    Reasoning
Now normally bashes or kicks can be interrupted through a light attack or heavy attack. However, Shinobi has hyper armor during this move, which means no matter what comes his way, absolutely nothing is going to stop that lil ninja's foot from colliding with your face. The point of Shinobi I believe is to be a ninja that is able to jut in and out as he pleases, dealing his damage and getting out, but not to safely and reliably disable the enemy constantly.

My suggestion is to do one of three things:
    1) Increase stamina cost to the kick or
    2) Increase kick delay by 100ms or
    3) Remove the hyper armor

    Scenario
An example is, dodge in, kick, heavy, backflip away. They can repeat this, because there is no easy way of closing the distance on a smart Shinobi. However, if the kick had a slight change via one of the three options presented, there could be at least a slight chance to dodge or prevent the kick without providing excessive punishment to the Shinobi

He can only get a free light attack off it that does next to no damage unless he's buffed. Anything else can be countered. I think it's just right for a hit and run zone character that has next-to-no armour or health.

That said, I agree the stamina cost should be higher to encourage a more ranged approach to the character. The other two things, I think he needs. It has to be fast and out of nowhere, that's the point of it. I don't have an issue with the uninterruptible armour as they still take damage. Killing one mid-kick is kinda funny.

    I tend to agree

I personally don't like the 50/50 nature of the kick, but if they want to keep it a 50/50, a correct guess should lead to a definite punish.

If, for example, dodging a kick gave a guaranteed guard break (like dodging valkyrie's sweep), then I would be ok with it as it is, because even though it's relatively safe to do the attack, you'd be risking massive damage.

At the moment however, there is almost zero risk for a Shinobi to kick, which is why you're seeing the attack being spammed relentlessly to the point where many Shinobi's don't do anything but kick spam.

This, this right here. A Shinobi can spam it over and over again. Even if I do manage to dodge it correctly (that tracking is insane btw), he can just do it again and again. Especially if my stamina has been kicked into grey, he can keep spamming it safely to reset my slowly gained stamina to 0 and I have to attempt to dodge constant kick spam so I can at least gain it back to green for once
