I tried myself against lvl3 Shinobi bot with my Nobushi. Overall experience was interesting but I found one thing that I had no idea how to counter - tackle. At first I thought that it would be like any other moves like this - just dodge side. But it didn't work. Then I thought it was because I did it too soon/late - still didn't work. Then I tried dodge back - didn't work.
So how should I do it? Is this timing thing that I should learn or are there some hidden trick?
And speaking of hidden...I wonder - does hidden stance negates tackle? Probably not but I'm at work so I can't check it.
Everytime I see Shinobi tackle I rememeber good old Shugoki days. But one moron nerf it so badly that Shugoki is weakest Hero atm. Pathetic - they remove one knockdown ability from one Hero and brings two another which have it....
What Ubisoft will do when someone will run over the map and do only tackles with free heavy ... ???
Funny thing is that if what you says is even remotely true then it was flawed class from the very beginning if only one cheesy move made such a difference.Originally Posted by BigFatMonsterCZ Go to original post![]()
The timing is tight, but I can confirm Hidden Stance 'dodges' the slide. I had my mate in a brawling match warn me of this Shinobi who liked to open with it, it got him two nice bleeds to the faceOriginally Posted by Draghmar Go to original post![]()
Hey guys ! I'm your hero !
i'll explain why : Don't dodge the tackle
Only thing that a shinobi can do after a tackle is a light, BUT when u take the first light u've a hyper armor because u were kd, THAT ALLOW YOU TO DODGE THE SECOND FREE LIGHT (they'll always do the second free light since the first didn't deal damage because u were on a cc recovery). So what then ? he is on a recovery of a light (right now nobody backflip after that move but whatever, most char can counter it in that situation with some tracking).
So basicaly, what happen ? Shinobi tackle, you fall, he light + light, you dodged the second light, you do even more damage than he did.
WHAT'S MORE, he loses more stamina and can't regain it for like 5seconds
That's good to knowOriginally Posted by Y_Shrewditch Go to original post
I found also that Top Heavy timed correctly can be very good as a tackle stopper.![]()
