unable to boot game if I close the game.
So day before yesterday I booted up the game to do some egg hunting. After some time playing I close the game like I've done for the last 2 or 3 years (I forget how long this games been out). Since then I've been unable to reopen the game within around 5 or 6 hours. I've not timed it, but I sometimes play two or three short bursts through out a day. Usually within 4 hours of each session.
When I try to open the game a second time I gets stuck at 67% Verifying Download then after 10 seconds goes to 68% and stops. I've let the screen turn off 4 times to see if it's just taking a long time. I've rebooted the device a few times. I've turn off wifi. Turned off airplane mode (Tablet user so wifi is my only connection option). I've cleared the cache(such a pain redoing control location). I've moved the install location to the MicroSD card and back again. I've checked all the tablet options, none of which have changed within the last few months. The only thing I've not tried is reinstalling the game. I'd rather try and not do that if possible as my internet connection is so poor it sometimes fails to get leader board updates.
I play on an Nvidia Shield tablet K1 with Android 7.0 and Shield tablet software version 5.1(24.29.404.127)

Since posting, I've tried booting the game every hour (after sleep) and still cannot boot the game 17 hours later. Same issue, stuck on Verifying download. I'll try for the 24 hour mark and if that doesn't work I guess I'll have to try the reinstall >.<
