This is beating a dead horse, but the matchmaking is kind of terrible. It's still impossible to play with the new characters or the original twelve. I'm trying to play Centurion, so that means I have to start from level one, why am I playing against GS 130+? I am serious when I say all the games I have played today have had 2+ GS 120s and above. The buffs that Ubi claimed would help low levels is non existent in my opinion. I truly wished this was something that was addressed before they raised the cap on gear and added new characters, this system they have set up is out of the gate broken. I applaud Ubisoft on their recent efforts to appease the community with their streams, competitions, and activity in the forums because it is something we need.

They should implement the fix that everyone has been suggesting. Pick your character and the game matches you based on that character instead of your overall rep level on profile. If this is something they can't do, then gear should be scrapped all together honestly, similar to Overwatch and other MOBAs. I understand that gear is what sets this game apart from all the others, but I see this as being something Ubisoft will not be able to truly resolve until after the game has dramatically dropped in player base.

This has already happened. I literally have over 100 friends on my friends list who have sold, deleted and even straight out broken their copy of For Honor because they were tired of the game in general, most citing the connection issues, unfair matchmaking, and incessant pandering to whiners and complainers calling for nerfs. It's gotten so bad that I have to skip over any contract orders that call for "Allied" completion, because nobody I know plays this game anymore, and 95% of the people who remain are d-bags I'm not interested in adding.
