Hi there,
well, there are pretty enough nerf threads to the new centurion. Im also at the point he is OP with all that unblockable stuff and so on.
But that isnt the point...
Im willing to continue to play the game, so I think about how to counter / beat a Centurion.
Especially 2 Cents in a 4v4 Dominion match.... guys I have no idea how to?
Everytime 2 cents comes across, im dead... just lay down my controller next to me and watch my hero die.
My first intension was to counter his Kick with dodge to the side an GB. Isnt working if cent does a heavy after kick....
So, you have any idea how to counter him? Im playing Conq at this time and I have no idea espacially against 2 of them?
If the Centurion always goes for Kick -> Heavy maybe counter it with Dodge -> Parry? Or, as Conq, just block it and you get a free GB!? If you are an Assassin you can Sidestep-Attack his Kick, I do this pretty constantly on my PK.
If you are facing two of them, well, it is like facing 2 LB's or 2 Shugoki's or 2 WL's or 2 Valk's or 2 Warden's... Not much difference if they both spam their unblockable CC, right?
What I try to do: keep distance, only hit 1-2 Light's, never let someone in your Back, stay alive until a Teammate comes by OR if you get the opportunity -> throw someone down. But never go for full chained combos, they last too long.

Well like I said the dodge thing doesnt really work all the time especially when he is following up - there are enough oportunities for cents to follow up arent there?
well I will practice that today evening and I hope we will get into it. I think cents needs a few changes regarding his stamina. He simply can throw out to much chains without get stuck at stamina limitation.
Dominion matches are sad for me since the new patch and I play mainly dominion... so I have to get into it and find my fun again.
I could imagine that it gets better too, if not EVERYONE is picking cents.....
But fighting againt a 3 people cent group is just senseless. And then if self come along with a 3 cents group its only a mess of stun and lay on the ground.
But we will see the next days.
I fullly understand what you mean, faced a 3 Shinobi Team in Elimination yesterday. In the first round (I joined late) I was left with those 3 Shinobi guys, they constantly kept distance and spammed their ranged Attack / GB. I got one of them down, but they revived and harrassed me to death. Man, I was raging because of this BS tactic. Next round I killed my opponent (Shinobi 1) in less than 30 seconds. Then went for ganking, hunted those fckers down in every round and left the match with 8:1.Originally Posted by row.Eastw00tz Go to original post
Sometimes you just have to go rage mode and stab them.
Concerning Centurion: as I said, every CC spammer group is the same annoying clusterfck in Dominion. Ever faced a 3-4 men Lawbringer group? Feels the same, believe me...

BUT we also faced a lot of groups with the new ones. And from this time on the game is broken. Sorry, i usually dont say this - but yes, the game is broken since the 2 new chars apear in dominion groups. Its a difference like day and night facing "old school" groups and "new" groups with new chars.
And thats the point. You should not mention this, if all is balanced.
At the end of the evening I told my friend I will stopping playing this game if nothing happens. And I guess Ubisoft will do nothing in next future.
Thats so sad because I LOVED this game and spend a lot of money in it, just in hope it will go on this way it was.
Well... we will see. I need a break on this game seriously thogh![]()
Its about the centurion not about 4v4..........Originally Posted by Vingrask Go to original post
I have found that as a Warden, being aggressive with my attacks and putting the pressure on works better than try to keep distance and punish a mistake.
Maybe over time this tactic will not work, but found that the Centurion is so focused on being the aggressor, that by putting the pressure back on them, you are not allowing them a chance to set up there attacks chains, and instead they need to focus on defending. The last key part is to try and avoid being hit by any of there kicks and punches, as your stamina goes to s*^% when this happens.
