I can't even get past the initial title screen to where it shows the ubisoft logo and stuff. It gets stuck on that and then after about a minute it gives me an error code, CE-34878-0
I've looked around for possible fixes, I've restarted my router, rebuilt my PS4 database, opened my ports, everything except re-installing it which I really don't want to do since it doesn't look like it's helped anyone else. What do I do?
*EDIT: I contacted Support and they said it was a Playstation problem, I contacted Sony and they said to try launching other titles, every other game works so they told me to go back to Ubisoft Support.
*EDIT #2: I deleted it and I'm re-installing. Will update with news.
*EDIT #3: After re-installing I still have the same problem. Guess I have to wait for Ubisoft..
Alright this is getting a little ridiculous, and if Ubisoft is going to respond with silence or pre-copied instructions then I'm probably going to join the ****ing Boycott.
YES I portforwarded.
YES I reinstalled.
YES I rebuilt my database.
YES I even activated DMZ
YES I changed my IP to Static
YES I EVEN RESTARTED MY ROUTER/MODEM
The only thing that I got out of it? Nat Type is now 1 instead of 2 and I can't seem to get into my router/modem settings anymore with the default gateway it's giving me.
You should do a wide test before rolling out such a patch, it's almost like it bricked the entire game. Not one Ubisoft employee has explained this to me except to say "Have you contacted Sony at all?" To which Sony said "if it's only For Honor having problems it's the application at fault." I love running in circles for a $60+ Purchase. I'm just glad I didn't give in and buy the Season Pass or any steel packs when it was still playable MONDAY and broken TUESDAY.
Seriously this is the worst experience I've ever had with a patch, it seems to be having adverse effects to my PS4 as well, making it sluggish every time I try to run and eventually have to close For Honor, it just ****s it up.
I don't mean to sound like an *** but this is unacceptable and Ubisoft was once a company I held in high regards when it came to gaming, nowadays they are the new EA.
