And no, that's not what I'm saying. That's what you've downgraded it into, but that's not what I'm saying. My points speak for themselves, not really gonna waste time trying to argue the point. The feedback is there for Ubi.

I'm gonna go play something fun.
You never really addressed any of my points, kinda did a politician deflect right there.

How is from what I understand and invalid argument? I used what I do against other players as I don't have the season pass yet, and compiled that into a point I made.

You're saying because you don't know how to do something a couple of hours into release of the characters, it's the dev's fault and not your own.

Once again I ask, do you remember the Orochi? He was considered stupidly OP at start and then people learned counters to the character.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....ha....ha...ha! This and the many threads to come like this will only get a laugh out of me. I guess there is only one thing that IS FACT and that is no matter what, these threads will exist because someone got beat up and figured since they do not know how to beat a NEW character that it must be OP. What a unfortunate joke. The last guy was right I can remember all the cry babies about the Orochi in the beginning. Wonder if the guy who started this thread stopped playing in the beginning (as he said) because of that too?....LAWL

Mate, They might seem squishy... the reason for that is, no one is really competent with either of them yet. They have been out for 8 hours ffs. My cent is level 14. I haven't won a duel with him yet... but ive slaughtered people in Dominion.

His zone can wipe out 20 minions easily if B is well populated (maybe the best zone in the game for that), and does a lot of damage 1v1, but, it's predictable. He's more vanguard than assassin..

Both of them are so super easy to kill, it isn't even a challenge - every Centurion or Shinobi i came across so far, kissed the turf less than 25 secs later.

Could again be different on PC, but on XBOX ONE, neither of them even tries to be a worthy challenge - at the moment they are nothing, but free prey.

BTW: The Centurion looks ugly as hell!

Devs should have played a bit more "Ryse: Son of Rome", back in the days, to see what a cool Centurion has to look like.

I managed to make a fellow shinobi newbie ragequit in two rounds. I don't really know where I am in duel with the shinobi yet, I've only met shinobi and centurion, dominion I am either getting wrecked quickly or getting double figure kills, no in between right now. The kick comes out of nowhere when you aren't expecting it and people only used to turtling are going to suffer for that alone.

Centurions unblockables, for the most part, don't do any damage. They are stunners, and stamina drains. His one unblockable that actually does damage by default, takes so long to charge, that if you cant parry or dodge it, you're in need of training. He has short range, its easy to dodge.

One. The fact that Shinobi's distance play screws almost all of the roster, by design.

Two. That Centurion is largely dependant on unblockable attacks that he largely cant be punished for overmuch.

I dont think so. I think these problems are evident after just a couple hours of play and I dont see why people are so skittish to call something bad when the evidence is there.

Edit: People keep going 'how do you know he cant be punished'. Simple. Try this yourself. Go into a practice match with him and see how long the recovery windows are for missed stuff. Use a friend to help you. Also use this to measure the tracking on most of his unblockables. I've been fighting against basicly nothing but Cent and Shinobi, both in 4v4 and 1v1 environments, as I wanted to look at each classes impact in both senario's. I have done my research. And these are the conclusions I came to.

I've used multiple heroes, with different grab/dodge times. This isn't hard to do, nor even particularly difficult to measure, even without stuff like framecounting software and what have you. If said heroes matter, their Raider, Warlord, and Warden. The result, was the same.

For the people arguing for the classes theyre probably playing every game. My full defensively built Conq GS108 just got kicked literally to death by two centurions. Now I get 2 v1 isn't supposed to be easy. But in this case of 2v1 vs 2 Cents with lvl 8 gear, I could literally not recover fast enough from being kicked before I got rocket kicked again, OOS, down, Unblockable stab, stand, kicked till down again.

I get it, hes cool, both the classes are neat as hell. But Christ man, that was the worst experience I've ever had in this game. It didn't feel fun, it didn't feel like they were particularly good. It just felt like Ubi tossed an unpolished piece of **** out to quell the masses till the next profit could be made. It was without a doubt one of the worst experiences I've ever had in any combat based game to date.

It is definitely too early to tell whether either of these two classes are actually op or not but the fact that veteran players are being beaten easily by classes that were just released a few hours ago suggests that there might be some imbalance. Yes, we haven't had time to figure out how to counter them but on the other hand, the people playing these classes haven't had time to master them either. The playing field should be relatively even but it seems that the dlc classes are at a huge advantage against most others.

On top of all of this, only some of us are given access to the new classes which means those of us who aren't willing to spend 40 dollars on the game can't even practice with them to find their strengths and weaknesses. This whole thing feels like a shameless attempt to get people to buy the season pass. In a couple of months, they're probably gonna nerf the hell out of these classes and hardly anyone will play them anymore.

    I remember Orochi.

I still dont -like- playing Orochi, his alternation between deflect, top light and zone make him extremely hard to play against if the player intends to use distance alot. I dont think that's a good example of what your going with. (I mean playing against an Orochi by the by.)

That's the only point I can adress. Everything else is a strawman, I dont hold the position your suggesting. Besides, the discussion isn't going to go anywhere, you have decided what my position is, you have decided it is wrong. I know enough not to argue with a brick wall.

Every time something gets broken like this people flock to it squaking GIT GUD GIT GUD because theyre going like 19-0 repeatedly in every match and therefore must be great. They ignore that a class can chain combo unblockable knockdowns push backs and heavies with grabs that chain back into unblockable knock down push backs and stuns. That in one bar of stamina they can take out some of the heaviest classes in the game. Its only because theyre gud, and everyone else needs to git gud (Read: Buy the new classes and abuse them while we can because Ubi makes them broken as **** the first week to promote sales before nerfing them down to their proper play level)

To top this all off, the best way to learn to play against a class in this game, is to go and play it. Even practicing against **** bots can yield you fantastic insight into how to play against a class. BUT in their infinite wisdom (read: greed) Ubi locked both of them behind a paywall. Which is fine, however you cannot even PRACTICE against bots with these classes. Unless you shell out 40 dollars, that's in addition to the 60 the game was. 10 Years ago this would've been labeled an abusive business practice now its common place and a reflection of the sad state the gaming community is falling into.
