My points stand. People keep saying 'it's too early, your whining', but does time have anything to do with the following:

One. The fact that Shinobi's distance play screws almost all of the roster, by design.

Two. That Centurion is largely dependant on unblockable attacks that he largely cant be punished for overmuch.

I dont think so. I think these problems are evident after just a couple hours of play and I dont see why people are so skittish to call something bad when the evidence is there.

Edit: People keep going 'how do you know he cant be punished'. Simple. Try this yourself. Go into a practice match with him and see how long the recovery windows are for missed stuff. Use a friend to help you. Also use this to measure the tracking on most of his unblockables. I've been fighting against basicly nothing but Cent and Shinobi, both in 4v4 and 1v1 environments, as I wanted to look at each classes impact in both senario's. I have done my research. And these are the conclusions I came to.

I've used multiple heroes, with different grab/dodge times. This isn't hard to do, nor even particularly difficult to measure, even without stuff like framecounting software and what have you. If said heroes matter, their Raider, Warlord, and Warden. The result, was the same.

For human players that might be true, but lvl 2 or 3 Bots know from the very start what they are doing, and even with the occasional "we Bots go all MLG-Pro in a matter of seconds" buff, that happens every now and then, both of the new chars went down faster than they ran at me in the first place.

It dont take a rocket scientist to figure these things out. A character based on unblockables needs to be able to be punishable if he ****s up. A character built off ranged that isn't just an extended weapon completely screws most of this games roster. This is simple stuff which makes how it got through testing absolutely baffling.

Also, lawl. You give Centurion and Shinobi players too little credit. It dont take too long for them to figure out how to exploit the classes strong points.
But here's the thing, time is an argument.

"I didn't master the violin 2 hours from the advent of it, must be a broken instrument." That's what you're saying. We don't even know the counters yet, give it TIME. If it's still being called broken after a month, then maybe we can ask them to take a look.
Remember the Orochi? In the beginning, he was considered one of the most broken characters, and then people got gud and realized he was just mid tier.

Also, from what I understand, the Cent has relatively long recovery windows on some of his unblockables, so there goes that argument.

"From what you understand". This is supposed to be something I'm supposed to take seriously?

And no, that's not what I'm saying. That's what you've downgraded it into, but that's not what I'm saying. My points speak for themselves, not really gonna waste time trying to argue the point. The feedback is there for Ubi.

I'm gonna go play something fun.

Is Shinobi really OP? That makes this former Orochi very happy.

And you know what the shinobi got for their distance play? A heavy attack that pulls them to the floor for a punish if they are parried and a guardbreak that pulls them to the floor of they are counter guardbroke, learn how to do these and they have to be much more careful. They also got a health pool that makes even soldiers a threat over time, has heavy attack into a fire put them to critical (happened to me in a duel) and leaves them vulnerable to heavy hitters like berserkers. Not that I am complaining about any of this, I am enjoying the challenge.

Goodbye then. The rest of us will be learning how to play against them rather than making judgements less than eight hours after release.
