I'm sorry to double post this, just trying to find out if anyone else is having this issue. There is already a thread in General discussion: here
What is happening to me:
- no sound whatsoever in game
- game starts normally, but its completely silent
- files verification succeeded, no change
- reinstalled/redownloaded the game
- no sound problems before
- set the audio to 48kHz (tried the fix suggested somewhere in ubi forums)
- I had a problem with error on 1.06 did the fix described here and it worked.
- other than that game runs normal. (excluding that I have to close the process in task manager manually)
Same. What I have tried.
Two different sound cards.
Deleting For Honor Data and the settings .ini file.
Repairing the client.
Reinstalling sound card drivers.
No luck so far.
Btw the game never closes either for me. It disapears but in task manager there is a forhonor.exe taking 1,5gb memory and doing nothing...
Same. Already posted on other posts to this topic, but i want those posts on top so ubi fcking reactes to this fast. But yea same issue here. What i found:
Problem occures with uplay or steam versions of the game. Game doesnt close anymore on exit. One needs to kill the task in taskmgr in order to end the process. (Steam shows "in-game" until task is killed. I assume this has something to do with the SoundBug. There is totally no sound not even in the intro .bik files.
The Setups of the people who have this kind of bug have like 0 things in common (at least nothing was found until now).
So please for fcks sake. FIX THIS UBI. It is Ubis fault since b4 patch everything was fine.
