No eggs visible on my device

It's hard to find the Easter eggs if there is no radar sound and no sound feedback while collecting an hidden egg.
But it's frustrating if you even can not see them. I haven't seen a single egg on my HTC One M8. They are not drawn on my screen.
After 50 unsuccessful attempts finding the egg on my last 5 maps, I installed Trials Frontier on my HTC One M8s. And there I was able to see the egg.
Both devices are nearly identical. The HTC One M8 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU running Android 6.0.0 while the HTC One M8s has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 running Android 6.0.1. On the M8 are some more games installed while the rest of the configuration is the same.
Any idea why my M8 doesn't show the eggs while my M8s does?

We are all having trouble finding eggs but once you know where they are you can find them easily in the tracks listed. The tracks are repeats with the eggs in the same locations.

I don't agree. Until recently, there was not a description and a screenshot of each egg. Without this information, for example, it was impossible for me to find the egg in Steam Quarter (located somewhere between the barrels). I also play with a German device. Therefore, I always have to determine the original English name of the track. This is all quite complicated.

But this is however off topic. This thread is about the technical problem of individual devices, in which the eggs are not shown. Do you have such a device, too?

My 1st and 2nd round of egg hunt seemed like this — I collected the eggs but had no idea where they were...they must have been in a hidden/invisible location.

If you used both devices in the same 6-hour window with the same account (therefore the exact same tracks and egg locations), then this is really really weird. Can't imagine how the phone would discriminate against eggs...it should just render whatever it's told to render.

But it is exactly as described. Someone else here in the forum already had the presumption that some devices do not display the eggs. That actually caused me to install Trials Frontier on my second smartphone. I am also a little surprised and therefore have not reinstated the game on the first device. Maybe I should try it.
