I'm worried.
I thought and was hoping this was some sort of replayable "survival" type option.
But reading the description it seems to be a separate "story" like Narco Road (crap dlc)
"The new Fallen Ghosts campaign features 15 new missions in which you will face four new bosses located in three different regions."
This also got me worried.. 3 regions? I really hope this is not true, but sounds like you will not be able to play on the entire map.
And the elites worry me.. Personally I have a real problem with these unidad guys when they are alerted and keep storming you.. since these elites are even better equipped then unidad.. alerting them could be even worse of a gank fest then with unidad.
Fingers crossed I'm wrong.. but I'm not convinced with what I'm reading here.
For those concerned about not being able to play their characters... lvl 30 sounds maxed out (we will see if it is the case, but I wouldn't be surprised) and the look options will be 99,9% the same + new outfits, so only the weapons will probably be affected, but I guess that is the whole point off being the outgunned and underequiped... In other words the main story character is shallow mainly look based and this is his story after the campaign (also the reason why not the full territory and separate game mode - as it wouldn't be compatible with coop).
I think we are lucky if we can keep the weapons from the DLC in the main game.

Extra difficulty, extra skills, extra weapons, looks promising.
Looks tight. Thx TristanOriginally Posted by TristanKay Go to original post
This sounds like it's going to be just as manic and crazy as the rest of the game.

Putting aside the character and missions again are on a new map and not linked with the main game, as I realize there are logistical reasons they make these decisions, my only gripe is Unidad having Cloaking tech. Unidad went and spent all the SB siezed assets on the military black market, I see.
The brass better damn well air drop cloaking tech in for us.
Edit: And I guess based on images every sniper in Unidad is now Deadshot.
Edit 2: In all reality, if you look at the images on Gamespot, it looks like the cloak is only for the head. He has ghillie suit top and basic camo pants.
For those too lazy to look for it...Originally Posted by Cons72 Go to original post

I like the idea of the survival style game play and having to scrounge for weapons after being in a crash but some of the other descriptions of this DLC have me worried. I'm leary of the "cloaking tech", Rambo style explosive crossbow bolts or unrealistically armored soldiers. I hope this doesn't mean these guys will be like bullet sponges that you will have to empty endless magazines into (like the Division). However, I'm all for increasing the capability of enemies including the introduction of new, better trained factions, weapons, etc.
Having said that, even as it stands (just by the description) it sounds better than Narco Road. I wish we could keep your main character though vs. creating a new one. ...along with keeping any new weapons, etc. we acquire in the DLC so we can use them in the main game.
For those of us who bought this game as more of a mil-sim (or as close as we can get to it for console), I don't know if I like the direction they are taking it.
