    A Rework For Guard Break.

so currently the game pretty much boils down to getting GB's for that free heavy.

but it makes no sense, you clinch up with a guy, then let him go and wind up a big swing and he just stands there well you hit him. it looks pretty silly and realistically make no sense. it's also not a lot of fun.

so my idea for changing guard break is to remove the ability to do normal attacks well in guard break (i would concede to keeping the light perhaps). but give GB it's own move set

.so every character should have a stun, like the Kensei's. they should all be able to hit with hilt, shield, shaft, or punch. that way GB becomes more of a tool to open someone up and give you a chance to go on the offence, but not just a way to deal free damage.

Throw will of course still be there, so if you want some damage, throw them into a wall to get your free heavy.

you could give charactesr more unique moves from GB, like the PK's stabs. the LB and Shugoki could have throws akin to there long arm and demons embrace. and so on

and then you could take a step further with CGB, rather than just push them off, you jack them in the jaw when they try to grab you, giving them a stun.

basically GB should be it's own thing, rather than just being a way to magically freeze someone on the spot.

What we need is clinch and ground attacks. At least strikes.

Like the stabs of the PK or the strikes of the Centurion. One hand holds the clinch the other stabs/strikes.
Or maybe judo trips into 3 gnp strikes that do similar damage.

I can agree the current guard break animation does look a little silly but as a core mechanic I believe its functioning more or less as it should,
