They did mention the percentages in a warrior's den a few weeks back. Iirc it was something like 40 odd percent. But like I said, that was weeks ago. Probably less now.Originally Posted by Captain-Courage Go to original post
If it's not even half of the userbase, and it was weeks ago, well, that litterally screams fail.Originally Posted by Egotistic_Ez Go to original post
This mode is so well designed that winning a match carrying your faction colors can end up hurting it.
Yep, that's how well this feature was thought.
Dat professionnal gamedesign ... I'm still amazed it managed to go through validation.
It's 40-45% of assets, not users. Many people don't bother manually assigning during the boosts or early in the round. Once it gets to the last few turns,a greater % of the player base manually deploys.Originally Posted by Captain-Courage Go to original post

The fact that it is AAA is even more serious This is not on par with the quality of service of an AAA game run by a so called AAA company.
It's not a question of running flawlessly. It's a question that the rules themselves are stupid from the beginning, organically badly thought out. The development took yeas, it's not like it was rushed in a 48h indie game jam.
I never, ever saw a tri faction game, and they are ****ons of them that already can serve as an example of how to do things right, where winning a match as a representative of your faction can end up working against it, because you were the only one of your faction on your side and you were matched against 3 players of said faction. It means that, if you actually play the "Faction Game" to it's full extent, you should AFK in a match like this, work against your ad hoc team to let your peers on the other side win and give your faction an advantage.
Good game design indeed.
Are your standards so low, or your brain on standby when you play, or have you played so few games with actual faction persistent conflicts that you didn't even notice ?
Like really ? God, you're the ideal consummer !
