Are you serious? All casuals will jump ship and try and be on the winning faction. You can rule out the vikings as season 2 winners right now.

Centurion which can be played by every faction in your so well designed "Faction Wars", as every other heroes ... so what's even the point of having factions a with classes to begin with ?

Don't you think on the contrary that it's actually more a feature designed towards casuals to give them the artificial feeling of being part of something bigger (lol), part of a competition that doesn't actually exists, and that most hardcore gamers, seeing that Faction Wars was just a gadget for hype building purposes (and to fill otherwise empty livestreams with something to talk about) and add a false sense of persistency in a game that shouldn't need it to begin with (unless you are not confident enough in your core systems to believe that they can make people stay in your game), just stopped caring about this joke of a game freature and centered all their effort on their personnal stats, which in the end are the only thing relevant in the competitive aspect of the game ?

I mean, basically if you are a real competitive player in FH, faction wars is for you more a waste of time than anything else, and doesn't have any kind of relevance or won't be even taken in account when it comes to ranked matches anyways.

That makes zero sense. Sure, most casuals, hell, most people don't care about the faction war, but at the end of the season it said "hey, these guys got better stuff than you". Every man and his dog, especially those without the knowledge of how the war actually works, will be jumping ship to vikings (no pun intended).

"Dedicated" gamers, if they know how the system works and care only about rewards, are likely joining the knights.
