I was playing fine til I power off my pc and restart it next day and went to play.
The game now is lagging so much and I can't play anymore.
I have all the recommended PC requires and I'm not even using it at full power.
When I'm trying to play, I try to walk and stop pressing the keys but the character keeps walking or doing the action without the key being pressed, and I takes like 2 sec to stop.

Hmm, this is certainly an odd situation, particularly due to the sudden nature of it. I personally can't say that I've seen anything like this reported previously.
Just to clarify, you have the most recent graphics drivers installed, correct? Please take a look at our PC Troubleshooting FAQ and give the steps presented a shot just to rule them out as a culprit.
Ubi Support can help you get to the bottom of this if the FAQ does not assist in resolving the situation. When submitting a ticket to them be sure to attach your dxdiag and msinfo32 system files as doing so will greatly help them in looking into this with you.
i've got exactly the same isssue since 4 days !!!
solo mode is lagging as if i played a mmo with 2000 ppl with me at hte same time on map.
i did a post but maybe too long for Ubisoft team to read ... and we're not the only one to encounter this so it might not be "an odd situation" ... (just check some reddit post cos those ppl think ubi team can't help them, so no post an official forums like this one).
and yes before you put your generic response to me : all my drivers gpu and cpu fine i did a check / update 2 days ago.
and my computer is able to run The Division, The CRew, The Witcher 3 in high ultra and mmo too.
i'm not waiting for a solution , just here to say we're maybe more than 1 having those issues !![]()
ok update :
now with patch 4 even in menu i'm lagging, shuttering as if i was playing a mmo with 10 000 ppl on the same map : my mouse cursor has micro-freeze and suddently jump accross the screen .... and i'm still in solo mode ...
and again my drivers even bios etc are updated, i didn't change anything on my computer and The Crew, The Division works fine ....
i'm so pissed i bought the season pass for a game i can't play anymore ...
and i opened a ticket almost a week ago on my ubisoft forum language and still no answer ...
