hello everyone,
i've never noticed it really strongly ... but du to a FAI change, my internet speed is not as smooth as before.
so playing in groups is sometimes fun cos lag issues ... character running few secondes after releasing key .
it's allright i can understand this but i couldn't do something else then changing my internet provider.
BUT can someone explain me why in solo mode, meaning i'm playing alone, i have lag issues ? : the same i encounter whern playing full online ? (latency movement, micro freeze etc.).
why a solo play is so dependent to your internet co ? the GRW file is almost 60 Go so no cloud needed to charge all maps !
the game is not filled with pnj controlled by humans, so the only time it should connect to servor must be when auto save ... and this shouldn't take a lot of internet speed ...
(EDIT : and speaking for myself i don't care my stats being uploaded every 15 min, cos my friends and i don't check every 15 min how many bullets we shoot, or how many hours we spend driving etc...).
i'm not asking for a solution "guys open your ip port" etc .... i'm just wandering why solo is messed by internet connexion when you have bad latency ?
solo play should be like Witcher or Mass Effect, splinter Cell or Assassin's Creed play : smooth cos not always checking on internet things ...
nb : before i change FAI, my game runned fine, so my pc spec are ok, in case you ask !

ok update :
now with patch 4 even in menu i'm lagging, shuttering as if i was playing a mmo with 10 000 ppl on the same map : my mouse cursor has micro-freeze and suddently jump accross the screen .... and i'm still in solo mode ...
and again my drivers even bios etc are updated, i didn't change anything on my computer and The Crew, The Division works fine ....
i'm so pissed i bought the season pass for a game i can't play anymore ...
