So Tonights Division Stream...
So tonight on The Divisions official Twitch stream with Matt Shotcha he got ambushed by a team of people demonstrating the flaws of the game. Using all the finest cheese the game has to offer to show that not everything is balanced and deadeye needs to change and only those people who use it as a crutch think otherwise.
I believe it started earlier in the week when Matt suggested simple awareness of your surroundings would allow you to counter any situation(the whole SA trolling), in truth it's nonsense, if you happen to stumble across the usual team composition of 4 deadeye or 3 deadeye and 1 healer you'll have felt the effects of the stagger and insta-death with little chance of retaliation. So Matt and his team got accosted by a team of 4 people using said gear and loadouts determined to prove a point. Matt was effectively spawn trapped in the safe house unable to reply with his Strikers MP7 loadout.
The way the game is currently built the game only really rewards firearms and skill, the amount of stamina simply doesn't translate, you can't run tank, even a shield won't last long against Deadeye. There is no build diversity, well there is but why would you choose to play as Scotland when Brazil are on offer in FIFA, or drive a Renault when there's a Ferrari.
Guys, all we're asking for is common sense, sniper rifles ain't shotguns, damage under 10 metres is ridiculous, why did you reduce the gap between headshots and body shots, can you imagine how stupid it would look if in hollywood movies snipers shot feet??? Aim for the head or please stop giving them crutches to think they're Chuck Norris.
Since this happened all parties involved have been permanently banned from the official The Division Twitch chat despite not contravening chat rules, they made no negative or rude comments. They simply used the broken PvP mechanics against them to prove what most of us already know. This isn't cool, they didn't break any rules and furthermore if you're banning them from chat for actions in game are you not admitting the mechanics are wrong?
