Nevermind, found it, based on that thread limit is 55:

Riders, there's a limit to how many Special Eggs appear on the lootwheel in a day. You're not seeing Special Eggs today because you've run out of them for the day!

The Special Eggs on the lootwheel reset every 24 hours, so you'll get 'em if you search for Easter Eggs every day!

I hope this cleared up some of the confusion you guys had.

Something weird I've discovered...

The egg always seems to be in the second of the five listed tracks for me. I can't say for certain yet whether this happens 100% of the time - I only started noticing this after a couple of days into the event. But ever since I've been paying attention to it, it hasn't not been there.

So when I my timer is up, I just click on the second track in the list, and the egg is on that one!

This may be a huge coincidence for me, so I will report back if I find it's no longer true. But just wondered if anyone else has noticed this, or something like this? I haven't been able to find anything in the forums.

This is looking good, I definitely recall track 2 having eggs in the past and first set of tracks today... track 2
Saves me wasting my fegging time looking for eggs!

i have mine mostly on the 1st track xD

when not in the 1st usually either 4th or 5th so i have to look well, and start doubting i searched the first ones well enough :P

Disappointing.

That said, just had track 2 again so that's 2 out of 2 for me today! The track number could be consistent for each player maybe?

Anyone got more ideas for getting 12 eggs on the loot wheel? I'm thinking slow times with a lot of faults gives a better chance because you can't grow the selection slice on the wheel much when it's a bronze, just a theory...

Could be. RL is more than capable of implementing this such that they only place the egg when you have gone through XX number of tracks. In any order. As in:
RL decides before you do anything that its in the 3rd track you decide to choose (that number could even have been a random choice, but lets say its 3).
You pick a track. RL says... is it the 3rd track chosen? Nope.
You pick another track. RL says... is it the 3rd track chosen? Nope.
You pick another track. RL says... its time to choose which of the locations on this track to use, and picks one.

Doing that would be a great way to keep it random, and still force you to spend time/effort/fuel...

That is what I experienced today. I ran the second track in the list first and found an egg, and on the next set, I ran the second track in the list again first and found an egg. So I have only played 1 track on each hunt and found the egg first time.

I realise this explanation might confuse matters even more!! lol

Yeah, I meant that too. I now also try the second track from the list first and most of the times find an egg on it so I don't need to waste my fuel and time on others.
