IMO, this is RL's ******** way of trying to balance the playing field, i.e. get people who hoard gems to spend them. Problem there is, a lot of people just hack the game and have millions of gems. They want us to spend more money buying gems, etc. when there are literally people who just hack them and RL does nothing about it.

I am going to try and play this event as I would have a year ago but I'm really tired of this game at this point and barely even play anymore. It's sad what they've done to it IMO. I know I sound like an elitist C. but it is what it is.

Is it just me or does anyone else NOT see any indication that you found the egg until you've completed the track?

Twice now, I've found the egg, but never saw it, nor any indication that I found it. Nothing audible either.

At least the data cubes had a decent glow and made a whirring sound as you got close to them. Finding this pretty dumb so far.

There is no sound or notification. Its a bit stupid imo.

Restarting the track does reset the egg so platinum is not possible if a fault is required to reach an egg.

The only time it would work is if it's before you trigger the 2nd checkpoint, where a checkpoint restart would put you at the start with no faults.

My tracks were reset this morning so will see if they reset again after 6 hours today or not!
My single fault run on old city wall did yield a 12 egg slot on the loot wheel though, which remarkably I landed on!

Getting more pissed by the minute. In the beginning, I thought it was getting 3 or 12 eggs as choices, and so I'd just spend 15 gems to restart the timer for 3-egg loot wheels instead of spending money.

Well, time has shown that the distribution is more like this:
    - 2 egg loot wheel... extremely common
    - 3 egg loot wheel....very common
    - 6 egg loot wheel.... common
    - 12 egg loot wheel... rare (has anyone gotten this after the first one? Not me)

Its not entirely based on time/faults; I've gotten Plat runs (egg was before start.. makes that easier) with 3 or 6 egg loot wheels.

I still think the skipping strategy is the right answer for 3 or less... but with an average of 6 eggs coming off the loot wheel, that means its going to take a LOT more gems/retries to reach 360 eggs than it first appeared. It makes getting the 6/12-egg loot wheels when they show up, almost critical to get.

I've only found 2 eggs out of 2 attempts, both times I've had 12 eggs on the loot wheel, but there has been about 22 hours between those 2 eggs. I didn't get the first one though, and didn't respin for it so that might be why it came up again.
I haven't skipped the timer yet and don't plan to, wasn't planning on respinning the loot wheel either but I'll have to if I want to reach the target.

As there are 21 days to complete the event, I'll be finding 3 eggs per day.

    Giving me 63.

By making sure to get a platinum on the track (if possible) after finding the egg and expanding the loot wheel egg reward there is about a 1/3 chance of getting that loot wheel egg reward without spending gems.
Averaging the loot wheel egg reward to somewhere around 6 which I think is fair.
This means I'll land on an average of 21 loot wheel egg rewards.

    Giving me ~126 eggs

So without spending gems I'll get around 189 eggs.

Meaning I'll be short about 171 eggs.
Meaning I will be spending gems 14 or 15 times to guarantee the 12 eggs on the loot wheel.

Obviously if it turns out I need more eggs in the last few days I'll just spend extras to skip the cool down but hopefully the plan works

6 hour timer didn't give me new tracks again, so clearly doesn't work.
Seriously, can Redlynx get any of these events working properly first time?!?

There are some bugs in the MC they have had 3-4 times now So... apparently not.

I had that problem too, and relogin didnt help... so I spent gems to restart it. And got a 2-egg lootwheel. So I restarted again to get a decent number of lootwheel eggs... and got a "2-egg" again. . . happened 4 times in a row. Finally got a 6-egg, and went to bed, much poorer in gems and not much farther along than before....

    Yeah, it wasn't exactly unexpected.
