I don't think so. Dedicated servers should have been there from the start, it would have prevented 75% of the community from putting the game down and never coming back.

Imagine the income from micro transactions with a bigger player base. Oh well, a short sighted business decision. Probably not even made by the dev team but someone with an economy degree.

They even use Yellow NATS themselves rather than make it that the game works best for people with Green NATS like most other games do.

Dedicated servers will kill this game.
The guy with the best ping kills you and you can't do anything against it.
The guy who lives near the location of the server has a ping 10ms and you have one with 100ms.

Don't turn things the other way around : the absence of dedicated servers already killed the game. One of the worst retention rates of these past 5 years, fighting games included.
And it's exactly what the current situation is with host advantatges. He can even kick you from a game if he wants. Or just screw everyone's game by leaving.

Without dedicated server, there won't be any ranked matches possible by the way. Simple.

But it's not that much important in the end since esports dreams for this game are now basically dead also, and since there are already big expected releases in the fighting genre this year (season 2 of SF5, Tekken 7, MvC Infinite, Blazblue central fiction, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Injustice 2 ...) no professional fighting game player will ever invest in FH.
