My group was really enjoying this game until 3.5 update, we play with only the minimap on - no HUD elements in the real world 3D space. everything was great, enemies did not have tags above their heads, yet through recon they would appear on minimap to get a general idea of enemy presence. a good balance between an immersive open world experience without screen clutter, and intel gathering and gps benefits.
Now after 3.5, you recon an area and all enemies completely disappear from mini map with these settings. no way to recreate the above settings. so using a drone or binoculars is now an actual detriment and leaves you with less information than before. its either we turn on enemies and rebels markers or live with no recon. a simple additional option would solve this:
please ask Dev to include the following setting:
Enemies and Rebels Markers: On, Minimap only, Off
also one for weapon/gadget switching is greatly needed since launch:
Weapon display: On, Off, Fade on switch
basically i have to guess what type it is when trying to select a grenade using D-pad, or if I have grenade launcher selected, etc. It would be nice if the grendade/gadget type displayed when selecting it, then faded after a second or two. just a thought for all of us loyal Ghost Recon fans who like to play with as little HUD intrusion as possible. I hope these can be snuck into the next patch, thanks!
