For the last 2 weeks I could not update the game through steam...it would start to download the latest update and then at 99% the time remaining would gradually increase until it eventually gave a timeout error. Previous to this the game worked fine.
So I uninstalled the game, cleared the download cache, even reset the default install path to C: drive and then attempted to reinstall the game. It is now getting stuck at 80% complete and will not continue. I have more than enough space on the HD it is not a space issue. What is preventing this game from updating and/or downloading properly?

Somebody from UBI support...I still cannot download this game. It stops at 80%.
I have done everything to troubleshoot in Steam - change library folder, delete download cache, reinstall game, reinstall uplay and steam, turn off the firewalls, uninstall any antivirus and anti-malware, nothing works.I have no issues downloading any other games. I have been unable to download this one for 2 weeks. It always stops at the same point...80% and then my KB/S slowly drifts down to zero and then download fails.
I have had this game for a few months, and it worked fine until a few weeks ago. A little help please.
