I recently bought ghost recon.I have only played this game 2 days with a total of 5 hours. It has worked fine until yesterday. It wont even load on steam or uplay. It says running but then it doesn't even open. I was wondering how I can fix it or if i can. A lot of other people on steam have been having solutions but none work for me. It is unfortunate that you are getting this launch issue, lego. May I ask what fixes you have attempted thus far? Also, could you please share your system specs for reference? Thanks!

thanks for helping. I have launched ghost recon in offline mode, deleted EasyAntiCheat, tried clearing the task grw.exe, reinstalled ghost recon, and updated windows. I have a GeForce GTX 1050, and a AMD FX 8350 Eight Core Processor. Is this what you wanted?

I get a similar issue since Sunday.
Used to play the game fine, but then something happened.

I've followed pretty much the standard troubleshooting methods (empty temp files, run as admin, etc...) and the only thing that "fixed" the issue was a reboot.
But I couldn't run the game a second time; I would need to reboot my machine in order to play again.

Now, it starts after a reboot but crashes whenever I try to load the campaign.

I've got a recent Win10 reinstall (over week ago) with all the latest patches and drivers for all my hardware (including video card).
    My system specs:
    Windows 10
    i7-7700 (non-K variant)
    32 Gigs DDR4 2666 RAM
    ASUS GTX 1070 OC
Samsung 840 Pro 256 Gigs for Windows
Intel M.2 6000p 512 gigs for Steam (where the game is installed)
Playing at 1440p with custom graphics settings

    Same issue

The same thing has happened to me. I've logged in over 150 hours into this game, some of them played on Sunday May 7th. Monday the 8th when i tied to play GR it wouldn't launch. I never had a problem with this game. Once it failed to launch i did everything i could. Restarted my comp, verified game files, reinstalled the game, reinstalled the game on the same drive as my OS, reinstalled Uplay on the same drive as my OS and GR. Now im here looking for answers as to why the game that enthralled me doesn't work. i have a Nvidia 1070 with Intel i7-4770 quad.

Thank you all for writing in and sharing the fixes you've attempted thus far. While our Troubleshooting FAQ could provide some additional suggestion to try out, it would appear as though many of them have been attempted without any success.

Our support team can work with everyone more thoroughly on this situation, assisting everyone individually in order to determine where the root of the issue lies. Please do open a ticket with them HERE. Including your dxdiag and msinfo32 system files along with your ticket with assist the team greatly in getting to work investigating the situation.

Posted this on the 28th of April

Funny I should see this post, as I had mine crash three times in a row after the update yesterday. So this is how I fixed it for me.

Do a verify game files - local files first.
Turn off Cloud Sync and Uplay Overlay in settings.
Start game and pick your saved game (not just start the game)
If like me it's start and runs OK (I did mine for 30 minutes) close the game.
Recheck the Cloud Sync and if you use it Uplay game overlay.
Start the game and you should be OK.

That was how I was able to get mine working. Been playing all day yesterday and today with no problems. I hope this helps.
