A truel is a neologism for a duel among three opponents, in which players can fire at one another in an attempt to eliminate them while surviving themselves.

The Truel game mode would be much like the duel, except, obviously, for being played between three people in place of only two. It would be played in a slightly bigger map than the ones used for duels, and the three people would have to fight each other, which would theoretically allow a much more fun gameplay than the ordinary duels. Using this very same idea, Ubisoft could also put a 6-players Fight mode, with three teams of two people. I know it probably could be hard to implement at first, but I really think it would be a fun game mode, so I'm making this suggestion.

I like the idea of three 2 man teams, or why not make it four 2 man teams that'd be fun

So it would be a game of lets gang up on the PK or other FOTM character first and then have a duel.

this is a really good idea actually (exactly as the trailer video), it will bring new dynamics in the game because even if its one of the best game in the world, i kinda get tired something. So please bring news game mode like this !

Three people in a free for all? Sounds pretty good actually. Would be a physical representation of the Faction War

Or just a really badass fight in general. I could definitely see three people all going at it, or two people fighting the one superior guy that can own everyone

I think a lot of people would take advance of this kind of systems to do groups for 2v1 game and then play duel...

Yes, I've thought about it, and my conclusion is... there's no way to prevent that. I've played a lot of FFA different games with 3 (or more) players, and sometimes people will team up and try to kill you. Perhaps making the "truel" a faction game (which means there can only be a viking, a samurai and a knight faction member at once) would help a bit, but even so it's no guaranteed. But a truel always seemed fun to me, and I think the fun times would make it up even though the annoying players.
