So many times I've had Shugoki's do their charge grab crush over their shoulder. I've dodged or they've just missed (as in their character model misses mine, doesn't even touch), but I magically get sucked over a metre to them and crushed. Fix it. Please. It's ridiculous.
Sounds like you dodged too soon.
It's actually pretty simple but can appear confusing without playing Shug yourself. The DE land has less to do with the visual distance / trajectory and more to do with this fact: Did you register any inputs such as dash (in any direction except towards the Shug) during his wind-up?
During his wind-up, the game is reading your inputs. Any dash, or even attacks that move you character (say you're attacking a third character), that are used while he is winding up will register as a dodge and he will miss (even if he collides with you, he will just rub off).
But if you ignore him because he looks too far away or you dodged once too early and think that's good enough, you gambled and loss.

3:if you dueling 1v2-3-4 and one of them is shugoki he simply grabs you when he finds first opportunity and all enemy team hits you while the animation continues
4:he has 1 HP! you just have to hit once and you are full hp then he parries you and pushes you to wall and grabs you! BOOOOM! YOU DIED! and he ıs ALMOST FULL HP!!!

Suppose I'm going on the visuals I'm seeing. Maybe I'm dodging too early/late, but if the character completely misses me, shouldn't I have dodged it? As in their character model doesn't touch mine, and suddenly my character 'sucks over' a meter or so as if I hadn't dodged at all. Maybe it is just the TERRIBLE lag in this game. Same thing happens to me with overhead attacks that seem to track ridiculously late.
