    What are the best stats for new gear Season 2 patch

    Hi all,

    New gear stats is going to release next week. I will like to know what will be the best build for orochi, nobusi and kensei.
    Please kindly advice,

    Below is my ranking. 1 is most important (Max) and 3 is least important (penalty stats).

    Helmet

    1. Exhaustion Recovery
    2. Defence (1/3)
    3. Debuff Resistance



    Armor
    1. Stamina Recovery
    2. Defence (2/3)
    3. Stamina Cost Reduction




    Glove
    1. Revenge mode Def
    2. Revenge mode Duration
    3. Def (3/3)


    Since revenge mode gain is the no. 1 stats for glove, i place revenge mode duration as 2nd. so should it be 1st or 2nd? Reason is because revenge mode gain and duration contradict with each other. because during revenge mode, revenge mode gain will be useless. However, if revenge mode duration is better. please let me know.


    Weapon 1
    1. Attack (1/3)
    2. Def penetration
    3. Block Damage




    Weapon 2
    1. Attack (2/3)
    2. Revive Speed
    3. Execution Health Regen



    I am not sure whether execution health regen will be better after season 2. Currently it useless as it add only a little health after execute.


    Weapon 3
    1. Revenge Gain
    2. Revenge Mode attack
    3. Attack (3/3)


    Very Tough Choice. Rev Gain vs Rev Attack.

    You may prioritize this over that, but without knowing the relevant effect of each thing there's really no answering this.

    That said, if revenge is your crutch, then sure, just kit out for that.

    Everyone will customize to their style.

    I feel that the weapon parts are gonna be easy to manage; max attack on all. It's the armor that's gonna come with hard choices. For me, helm is gonna have defence or exhaustion recovery as the dump stat; without debuff resistance, bleeds will wreck you (I *REALLY* wish bleeds were tied to the attack/defense stats instead; shouldn't need a separate stat for what technically should be classified as combat damage, and not a debuff).

    Chest would get the stamina stats (minimal stamina stats hurt character functionality too much to be considered as dump stats), so low defense there. Gloves would get max defense, with Revenge Duration as the secondary.

    Can't say right now since we don't know how the new stats will work, or if any of the old ones are getting buffed like block damage.

    Depending on how bad the negative stat effect is, it may be better to just go for an all-round stat choice instead so you don't have to sacrifice anything. It also depends on your hero as well. A hero who can knockdown opponents in revenge with an unblockable will benefit from increased duration. Yet someone like Berserker who has no unblockables might benefit from higher defence and less duration, so he can get that auto-parry knockdown more often.

    I've actually been thinking about these today for my Shinobi (because why work when you could do literally anything else? lol). Now keep in mind that since we don't know the percentage gains this may change but here's my early idea.

    Weapon 1
    Since chip damage hasn't been increased yet (might be upped later according to the devs) it's still worthless. Pene only works on the defence stat and most people don't have that as number one so;

    1) Attack
    2) Defense Penetration
    3) Chip Damage

    Weapon 2
    I don't play in premades often, so revive speed is out, and killing an enemy faster trumps healing for more after they're dead since killing them faster DOES effectively heal you and may even stop you dying altogether.

    1) Attack
    2) Execution Regen
    3) Revive Speed

    Weapon 3
    Since the nerf I use revenge primarily for the parry knockdown. I want that knockdown as often as possible, but I don't care about the extra damage. I consider this piece of gear a big one for player customisation.

    1) Revenge Gain
    2) Attack
    3) Revenge Attack

    Helm
    Now that debuff duration has been fixed in regards to guard break I no longer consider it useful. Since I'll be taking stam improvements later and I tend to be fairly careful with my usage (and can backflip for miles) exhaust duration is also not a big priority. I also only have 3 and a half bars of hp...
    Depending on how much debuff duration affects bleed, and the prevalence of heroes with bleed in matches, this may change a lot.

    1) Defense
    2) Exhaustion Duration
    3) Debuff Duration

    Arms
    As I said earlier, I use revenge primarily for the knock down parry. To get that up as often as possible I want to actively lower Revenge Duration. Revenge Defence is also less important because it won't be up for long. This is another piece that will come down very much to player preference.

    1) Defense
    2) Revenge Defence
    3) Revenge Duration

    Chest
    I consider all of these decently important. Another big customisation piece and, for me, this one is VERY reliant on the specific percentages. And yes, they are all meant to be 1. It's an equally balanced piece for me.

    1) Defense
    1) Stamina Use
    1) Stamina Regen

    So yeah, essentially my plan is to focus on "normal mode" gameplay by stacking attack and defence, then use revenge mode as a semi frequent "oh ****" button.

    Assassins need Revenge on Injury, Revenge Mode Attack, Exhaustion Recovery, and Sprint Speed.

    My Kensei is purely offense. Stamina and Attack are max, Exhaustion Recover is max, Revenge on Defense, and I think Revenge mode Attack is max.

    did you not read what he posted? there is no more revenge crutch. revenge has been nerfed so it either rewards good players (spec'd for revenge attack) for playing well against bad odds, or it buys bad players (spec'd for revenge GAIN) a few extra seconds of life and maybe even a saving lucky slice. beyond that, there is no more "max revenge" build, which is excellent.

    It is not from me, but the stats seem to be accurate from what I can tell.

    For every Assassin I think the following Stats are a priority:
    - Stamina Regen
    - Stamina Cost Reduction
    - Defense Penetration
    - Exhaustion Duration
    - Revenge Gain (which is on injury and on block / parry / deflect now)
    - Revenge Defense
    - Attack and Defense always 2nd high stat if there is only one of the above stats on the gear. Otherwise sacrifice Attack and Defense for the two listed stats (like on Chest)

    This is my experience from yesterday. In Elimination and Dominion where Stats are on I experienced a massive change when it comes to Stamina. I was OOS pretty quickly and Exhaustion lasted very long compared to Season 1. The increase in Stamina Cost Reduction, Stamina Regen and Exhaustion Duration is not that big anymore. Since being OOS is pretty bad you really want to avoid that.

    Concering Revenge Gain and Revenge Defense as a priority I think about the times when I need to use Revenge mostly: facing multiple enemies. What do they do? They mostly smash their buttons to kill you. What helps you in this situation? Fast Revenge Gain to get the knockdown and after that Revenge Defense to kill 1-2 while 1-2 people are hitting you. You cannot hit back without getting some hits yourself in those situations.

    Just my humble opinion. Went 12+ Kills with 4- Deaths in all Dominions with these stats yesterday. Elim went good, too.
