Bought it today, 8 hours download on steam. Game won't start. tried to verify integrity, tried to uninstall uplay nothing works.
The game won't even show up in task manager, so I have to force quit both Uplay and steam.
Several other people on the steam forum have this too.
it seems that ubisoft dont really care aboout customer support!
i cant start the game, why?!!
i deinstalled ubisoft launcher and installed it againt, nothing changes.
game wont start! doenst matter if i try to start it through steam or uplay.
and yes, i checked the sytem requirments, I7 4790K, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080 TI, Win 10 64bit, latest driver and updates.
i can play any other game on steam or uplay, but not GR:Wildlands.
pls give us suppport!
i have had this game about a week or more and today i cant run it. seems to just be a problem at the moment not sure ;(
When I try to launch the game it crashes at the main menu or even before that.
I heard from some people that a solution for that would be an installation on the main drive.
My game is not installed on the main C drive. But even though my main drive would be too small to fit the game there and
every normal game should be running on other drives than the main one.
I hope there will be a fix somewhen in the near future. But my hopes arent as big anymore.
To conclude I am never gonna purchase a game from ubisoft.
They are not capable of programming basic application function correctly or showing any interrest in fixing it properly, sadly.
I spent 60 Euro on preorder and wasn't to play it one time. I am sorry for your loss of money.

Just did uplay update and the game now won't start. Before the update, it was fine. Well done ubisoft.

I'm usually able to play from 30 minutes to an 1h before sudden crash. But after the last UPlay update I can't launch the game neither.
It's a pity cause the game is awesome but I'll be die under the weights of these dummy bugs
Same here, the dumb ****s went and killed it. Idiots clearly have never heard of testing. Hope Vivendi buys them out and burns them to the ground.
