We recently disabled these because they were causing instability with online services. We are actively working with Xbox developers to get a fix out so we can reenable them for all Xbox One player.sOriginally Posted by spectres Go to original post
I really dont think Beam is causing instability. What approaches are you guys taking to fix the connections? This game can be so great but it seems like other patches have been applied instead of working harder on connectivity.Originally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post
The streaming services were disabled specifically because of the more recent revamp of the Xbox One OS. The changes made had an effect of how certain services, such as the DVR and Streaming services, interacted with the game.Originally Posted by spectres Go to original post
Connectivity fixes have been a large focus for the development team. The issues afflicting connectivity in-game are complicated and complex. Early changes were made here and there to fix minor thing, but our first big connectivity patch came with patch 1.06. This patch was meant to address a few of the more common problems players were experiencing, but we didn't expect to solve every players problem. Other large connectivity updates will come via future patches and we hope to have more information to share on that soon.
I really do appreciate your prompt responses. It just feels like Ubisoft is more concerned about trinkets and making characters OP. I know the community feels that this game has such great potential that these issue need to be addressed quickly before this community dies out. With all the issues that this game has had and continues to have still makes this game a contender for an incredible year. This is a very groundbreaking game for Ubisoft to let slip through the cracks.Originally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post
We understand and have definitely heard the community's concerns. The team while fixes do take time for us to put out, we try our best to keep the community in the loop on what's happening with the game and changes that we have coming for the future. If you aren't already aware, we host a livestream every Thursday at 12PM on Twitch, Facebook Live and YouTube. On the stream, our Community Developers regularly bring on the game directors to talk about these upcoming changes and where the direction the development team is currently taking. We also regularly take questions from the community and are actively looking to address the largest concerns the player base has.Originally Posted by spectres Go to original post
