The berserker lady boss in the viking campaign was by far my hardest fight in max difficulty. So hard to read without indicators. Especially because of how bad I am at raider. Ended up just cheesing it by throwing her in the fire several times.Originally Posted by Rikuto-san Go to original post

Some characters would clearly benefit more (a *LOT* more) from a lack of indicators (PK being the prime example), while slow attackers would suffer. That doesn't seem very appealing, no? And really, in my opinion the indicators are there to help players respond appropriately and in a timely manner, like their characters should be able to. It's more difficult to be as responsive and precise with a 3rd person perspective as opposed to 1st person (specifically over the shoulder/shooter 3rd person; side view fighters like Street Fighter or Soul Calibur never had such an issue IMO). 3rd person does allow for greater situational awareness though.
